It is no secret that TBF is not transparent.
Although to be fair, individuals can file an extension on filing their tax return until late in the year and I would assume that other entities would have the same pleasure. It is possible that they simply filed for an extension.

I think you're whippin a dead horse Bruno. TBF is as good as gone. It was inevitable really. Their initial massive injection of cash was a fluke. They solicited members on this forum at a time when everyone was primed to do anything the respected founders of TBF wanted them to do. Problem is the respected founders aren't so respected anymore and some of them are in jail. They were funded in btc by their initial membership. Then they exchanged the btc at an exaggerated exchange rate based on a fraudulent price run up created by that fat late drinking piece of French shit. TBF has gleaned all the gold, platinum, copper, nickel, zinc and plastic members it's likely to find from this forum. Lifetime members never have to pay again. There's no new members to fleece and if their were the exchange rate is too low to help them. They're ten kinds of fucked without you doing anything.

People just don't care about the Bitcoin Foundation and it's transparency anymore.
There has been so many bad allegations being made against them in the past that their opinion or their inputs have been watered to a degree where it does not count for shit anymore.
They are like the Titanic... The only thing left is a few lifeboats floating in the water.
How many of these allegations were true, has no substance anymore.. most people just lost faith in the organization. Some people even argued that they had no need for them from the start.
I must say, they did arrange some nice events and some good discussions took place at these events.

I don't think they can recover from the fact they had one of the most hated if not the most hated persona in the Bitcoin world as a lifetime member (im talking Mark Karpeles btw). The guy scammed way too much people for it not trigger hate everytime you hear his name.

Any day now, TBF! Simply pay somebody on staff $150K USD to include the link and write off the expense next year when you file.

The 990 was filed on May 15, 2015, and TBF has yet to publish the doc on their website.

no matter. they stand for nothing now and we need to educate the new comers that they do not represent all of btc and to be wary of how influenced / influential they actually are.

Sorry for being dense here, what does the summer solstice in the Northern and Southern hemispheres have to do with this?
Thanks.

I think he was trying to outline the fact that spring is gone but the IRS form has not been published on the website yet. The 990 was filed on May 15, 2015, and TBF has yet to publish the doc on their website.
So they did file it, but they didn't publish it on their website for transparency reasons? I wonder why

It is a great shame that such a public face of bitcoin has come to this, a dramatic lack of transparency by a once trusted foundation.

https://bitcoinfoundation.org/transparency/I'm pretty sure that TBF is stalling in showing 2014's tax return because there's something within that would need addressing. Why else would they wait so long when prior years their returns were presented relatively quickly?

Are we absolutely sure the remaining members aren't in jail? You know, you don't have to file taxes if you're incarcerated. Ask a couple of the founding members. They should know. ROFL

Didn't the Bitcoin Foundation used to pay the core devs? Who pays them now most of the Bitcoin Foundation's executives are in jail, and the organisation isn't making money anymore? I know some devs will work for nothing, but I should have thought the top ones want paying a good wage.
