I don't quite understand the purpose of this. Does a story no longer even need to be told now for a coin to launch?

Guess not. All you need is the coin name and some specs.

I took a quick look through the code.. But I cant seem to find anything suspicious at this point.. My virus scanner also says the QT is clean... I do agree with you that the 0 blocks not showing up isnt making any sense  Huh


Edit:

I cant find any hardcoded seednode or " pnseeds " in net.cpp... Maybe that is the problem here...
