Hi, I see lottery games as something of an entertainment, but not something that is easy to win.  At those prices I would buy 5, maybe 10 entries just for fun.  It could be a good game.  I like the 10% bonus thing.

So do you mean that the payout is guaranteed, like it is held in escrow, or do you mean that someone is guaranteed to win each game, so that the jackpot will be claimed every time?  I really like that idea, it would make things more interesting.  If no one hits the numbers would you just award it to the closest winner, or divide it up amongst the top draws?

The payout is guaranteed like escrow, and would be paid to the winner.

As for any lottery we have lower prizes for non-jackpot wins.

Feasable yes, but it is quite imporbable that it will happen. 2000 BTC is a pretty large prize money. Most of the lottery sites already shutdown due to lack of interest. Say if the deposit or tickets bought amounted to 200 BTC today and the draw was tomorrow which would be paying out a GTD 2000 BTC, then I am sure most would be interested in buying tickets as long as its provably fair.

Drawings are 100% Provably Fair, with absolutely no way for site or customers knowing the draw outcome before hand.

You are correct that there are many scammer out there.  Our group has been legally licensed in the online gaming since 1999 and had many bingo jackpot won during our run.

Again, the reason for this poll is to see if it's actually feasible.

We are targeting early September for a complete overhaul.  Current website has been in hiatus for some time now, and
is basically a stub.

So please don't let the website current state influence the poll.

The problem is the escrow, you can't have only one escrow for 2000 btc. How many different escrow you add? 10? 100 ?
for me, is most plausible (and i can buy different ticket) a lottery with less btc win

I would probably get 5. The chance of winning is so slim that I never really see the point.

Although on the other hand, my boyfriend, my aunty and my brother all won something the first or second time they played the lotto, I'm only talking about small prizes, not some mad jackpot or anything. We were talking about this and they all agree that when they first start playing lottery (any one, doesn't matter) they seemed to be winning little bits here and there. To the point of profiting by small amounts.

I know that is obviously just a coincidence but it's just a bit unusual. In a good way.

Maaybe I will have a go and just cross my fingers, see what happens.

There have been over 100 views already with only 8 submissions.

This poll is critical to know if a real traditional lottery is viable.

We are very aware of all the concerns about getting paid should someone win.  All we are asking is, if Provably Fair, and Proof of Jackpot would you actually play and how much.

Should we elect to proceed with this, we then would handle everyone’s concerns to make sure they trust the site.

2000 BTC is unheard of, I've never seen a bitcoin lottery offer that much in guaranteed winnings.  I would buy 10 tickets just for fun. 
Please also note that although this is the biggest bitcoin forum currently out there, you won't get everyone's opinions on one thread. 

One question, how would the 2000 BTC be kept prior to the drawing?  In multiple escrows?

i love a fair and true lottery. they are fun and i think i would buy 5-10 picks since i like to try my chance.
but unfortunately i haven't seen any good lottery so far. and honestly i feel like 2000BTC is too good to be true.

I'd definitely purchase a few tickets, but I'd want to see it completely on-chain, fully provably fair, and include the scripts to reproduce the drawings. And to believe you're going to pay, I think more than just have the money you'd have to escrow the jackpot in say 2-out-3 multisig. (Where you could hold one, and two very trusted people from the bitcoin community each hold one each)

I would buy 10, but only if the funds were held with a trusted escrow ahead of the draw.  I like the idea of such a large jackpot but I am skeptical that you will sell enough tickets for such a large jackpot to happen.  What about a raffle style drawing, where the winnings scale with how much is put in?

I would like to buy 11-25 picks for each dawings to have multiple chances to win jackpot.Question is same how would you assure the players that in case of hitting the jackpot the prize will be delivered to the winner without any problem. Many people have demanded the escrow and would second them to put the jackpot amount at multiple escrow as this is huge amount.
