I've used it before. It's doing its job properly.
But there're techniques to analyze blockchain to find real owners of mixed coins. Also check blockchain's taint analysis tool.

Used it. Had no issues at all. Ultimately you're still trusting a third party but it's one that's better established than most.

I used it also and never had any issues with it all working fine , it's probably the only or one of the only legit Bitcoin mixing services around .

It is the most trusted service for bitcoin mixing. I know people who have traded over 50 BTC in volume on the site and have never had any issue. You can also divide the amount and send incase you are worried.

...

I have mixed BTC with bitmixer.io many times.  It seems to separate origin of BTC (address) from the destination address very well.  bitmixer.io offers various options (can add more destination addresses and time delays) to further hide your trail.

The algorithm seems to be very different than the other popular mixing service: SharedCoin, via blockchain.info.

It is important to follow bitmixer's instructions very carefully!   <====

I chose bitmixer's signature campaign because it is the only service (here at bitcointalk) that I have used.  Making a small amount of dollars MOAR with another signature campaign is not my style, as I do not gamble nor use exchanges.

I think using a normal exchange with shared wallet is still a better solution since the coins are way better mixed in there. You really cant guess who did was in there anymore. Thats not fully true for these bitcoin mixers. They dont do things perfect enough sind the more perfect the more it will cost.

If you try to hide something illegal then exchanges arent for you of course, though im not so sure if bitcoin mixer will protect you really when an agency goes to them and asks them about their logs. Even if they dont have logs, agencies can go there, forbid to speak about it and then check all future transactions. They could find at least everything happening from then, which might include past users that use it repeatedly.

AFAIK bitmixer is the best bitcoin mixing. Although never use before but their is trusted, it's better than use exchanger right, because you don't have pay much fees.
