We should just ban everything. Nothing can be bought. Someone might get offended.
Ban banning. Ban the physical act of banning something.
That'll teach people.
Well, that's what it was all about, the massacre I mean. Some black people got their lives banned.
Think about it. For most people in America, their life gets banned by death long before they reach 100 years. Prior to that time, almost everything that they do bans something else.
The banning of the Confederate flag is simply some people banning some other people. And to an extent, this is justified. After all, nobody requires you to buy or sell through eBay. However, if eBay became a national commodity - perhaps it has become such - banning like this might be illegal.
Regarding Christianity, Christianity has saved far more lives than it has "banned." Lack of Christianity - Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Genghis Khan, etc. - has banned more lives in a much shorter time than Christianity misused could ever think of banning. After all, this life is only for, say, 100 years or so. Without Christianity, the life ban becomes eternal. With Christianity, all those who believe go on to life eternal... life without a life ban.
When people ban Christianity in this life, they are simply banning freedom.
