Hello there,

I'm selling 10 x lifetime Premium accounts on UsenetStorm.com

What is UsenetStorm ?

It's a web-based Usenet provider, where you can download files from Usenet directly though the site.  For a good idea on how to use the site, watch this Youtube video : www.youtube.com/watch?v=43nSBWTJU0M.

How much for an account ?

฿3.0 for a lifetime Silver Premium account

฿4.0 for a lifetime Gold Premium account

฿5.0 for a lifetime Platinum Premium account

How to pay ?

You can send a message on this board or an email to support@usenetstorm.com and we'll sort it out.

Please note there are only 10 accounts available so act fast.

Regards, Will.

"lifetime" doesn't mean much when you only been in business for about 4 months.

Hi,

I bought the lifetime Platinum Premium account for a really good price. Thanks will7am.

Now I tested a few days and want to write a short review:
The speed is great, I download the .nzbs with downthemall and have fullspeed (16 MBit).
The time from the upload of the nzb to the possibility to download the files is good too. For example I upped a few 2.7 gig nzb and it took about 1 to 1.5 minutes.

Disadvantage for usenet power users: I use sabnzbd with other usenetproviders and after the change of a few options the downloads are checked, repaired, unpacked and saved in the right directory without any additional work. I thionk this is more comfortable for power users. For the time to time user or medium user usenetstorm could be the right solution.

Then I tested older files (about 900 days old) and the completion was great. I only got 1 actual download, where the files were only about 90 % completed and had not enough repair files.

Conclusion: Fast, nice service and the lifetime accounts are a good addition to regular accounts for power users or a good alternative for non-pros who like to use a web browser to download.

What could usenetstorm do to make the service better:
Automatic file check and repair, so that the user only have to extract the zip.
A own prog, that automate all the needed processes and a directory support with filter would be great.
nzb-File limit of 5 gig maximum is to low.

But for the price it is really good and I think this service has a great potential.

Is this a full usenet sever or does it provide only access to the articles? (The abilty to download the headers of all articles stored there without the need for nzbs)
Is full textgroup rendition available? (all non binary groups are there and are there since the beginning of usenet)

I have had a premium usenet access which hasn't had both of them, it was a mere downloading service.

Hi ElectricMucus,

We only offer binary downloads through .nzb files, I hope this helps.  I find downloading headers a pain in the ass considering you have sites like binsearch.info that do it for you.

Thanks for the info.
FYI the right implementation (XHDR, short headers) isn't much slower. I know it cost more resources, but I am not willing to pay for something that I consider a crippled service.
And no text groups is a no-go.

I recently bought a lifetime gold premium account.  Will7am hooked me up with a good deal, and he sent me quick responses when I used the support email address.

I had never used anything usenet related before, but this is dead simple.  Speeds seem to be good too.  Overall, this fits my needs well.

Exactly thats what those crippled nib-requirement-leeching services are for. They probably don't even know about the usenet hierarchy, text discussion or what they are actually doing.

it's simple, you search for what you need using a nzb index site. then you download the corresponding ".nzb" file, which contains a link to all the files. Then you go to usenetstorm, upload the nzb file, and the site will process the files for you. You are then given a link to a zip file which contains all the files you requested. I tried this myself, using the free offer, and I love the speeds, and the interface is very clean and easy to use.

Thanks grue, great little walk-though and lovely feedback.  I'm glad you enjoy our service.

PayPal have frozen our account, so we're lowering our BTC prices even more.  Email support@usenetstorm.com to negotiate a deal.
