Why? You know anyone who sells you a Australian sim (which is against Australian law btw) has all the risks associated with what ever you do with it, for examples if you use whatsapp and scam 1AUD$ out of someone then they go on a watch list, a watch list that if they are a tourist to Australia may stop them entering australia in the future, or cancel there current visa, or let's say worst comes of it you do something terrorist related they could even lose there citizenship under new laws that are coming in, so any Australian would be a fool to participate in selling a SIM card registered to there name, and any one who wants to ever travel to a first world nation who has agreements with Australia should and would think twice, sure it might never affect you, but in 20 years time do you want to be denied entry and put in a detention centre for 50$?

I sell small amounts of BTC for PayPal msg me for details and spot rate

^^What if the sim card is not in anyones name yet, would it still be ok to sell?
I live in Australia and know a few places that sell sims without any details, just pay for the sim and walk out, the end user can register the card later

Yes...but I think the op wants an already registered sim.

@op - you may wish to clarify???

If you want a fresh sim bought in oz mailed to you outside of oz for you to register,  I'll do this for you for $4 in btc as a 'happy to help' (I don't get why anyone would however). Am not interested in supplying a registered sim though.

Wow 4$ in btc? EBay is asking 170+€

If he used it for anything illegal and its tracked thru to you being any way in the supply of the sim before or after registering the law looks at you as facilitating the crime. Think 3 times

I'm no law expert.  But there are dozens of sale adverts on ebay etc oz, uk...I cant see that they are all risking being implicated in a crime. E.g. http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/131538408902?nav=SEARCH

What if I sold a mobile phone that went on to be used in a crime???

@op - I'll err on the side of caution and direct you to the multitude of ebay sales.

And that's a postpaid service, I'm 99.9% sure the OP is after a registered number not just a sim card from Australia
