I am sure that many of you have already figured out that we have some network issues tonight.

We're very sorry about this, and we are working very hard with our network provider to fix the issue.

I will make hourly reports in this thread until everything is restored to working condition.

The WalletBit website and service came under DDOS attack on September 15, 2012, completely disabling the services as of around 9:00 PM GMT.

It is indeed a DDoS, extortion demanding bitcoins to stop. Currently there is nothing we can do until Monday.

There's a guy renting out botnets to attack anyone, including BTC services.
