I haven't tried Tango Cards myself yet.

So far I've earned several Xbox gift cards, Skype minutes etc.

Do I miss something? Or didn't you earned these gift cards and Skype minutes with using Bing as your search provider? I did reconize an referal-URL though Wink, however, I don't mind to use it. Unfortunately I also see the message that this reward option is not available in my country..

Is there an idea about how much you will actual earn with using Bing instead of Google? I think we all use Google quite often - and even more then we do realize. If we can earn some extra presents with using Bing instead, I might swap too. (although I have to find a proxy-way or something then).
If you read the thread you'll see I calculated his. 14 cents a day. Anyone who thinks that is worth it needs a reality check.

Well some money is better then no money, maybe for your is not worth the time using bing just your use an other search engine that doesn't offer you a dime on your usage they are making money of their users so might as well get some money for it.

How much satoshi would each search be worth? Can't be that much, else bots would rule the landscape..

it is better to go with faucets, or with system like 2captcha, they pay you to solve captcha, i think you might earn much more than using their crap browser

if they want to do this seriously, they should offer 10k satoshi hour for using their browser

Too bad bing has been very selectively on who they will want to pay for using their search engine. It really doesn't matter that much because bing is not the only channel you can actually use to earn bitcoin. Participating in this forum is also another way to earn and get paid in bitcoin for the things you are already been doing. So It's the same concept.

I find it odd that they havent enable the campaign in U.S since is one of the biggest online buying community, i guess it up the company giving out the rewards to decide what country they wanted working on.

Even when using Proxy or VPN sometimes you get detected because this useless bing reward is only available on the USA , even if you manage to get it working you will eventually get to the step where you buy the TangoCard you are speaking about or any other items , you will be requested to call them to get your items you bought .
not sure if they asked me to when they detected that I used VPN/Proxies or they asked every single user  Huh

It sounds like a pretty neat deal to pay bitcoin enthusiasts for using their browser service. It wouldn't be such a good long term idea as people will start leaving as the points decrease due to excessive payouts. Very few people stay onto a service they joined just to gain some third object, rather than to use its services.

Well, I got the Tango card successfully. Went to the website, redeemed it no problem. Apparently you can't redeem it for bitcoin.   Angry
As you can see, Bitcoin is listed on the rewards catalog here, (https://www.tangocard.com/the-rewards-catalog/)
.
But when you redeem the code to your account, it seems to disappear.   Tongue

I looked, it's just not there to redeem as bitcoin. I think there's been a misunderstanding between rewards and shopping? I have no clue, but what a bummer.  Undecided

You can, if you want, buy these giftcards and sell them here for Bitcoin. Like for example Amazon giftcards. Worth $5, I think you can sell them for about $4.50 in Bitcoin if that is what you want Wink.

{Curently quite inactive as I'm really busy in my private life. I will get back soon!}

Vpns or proxy won't work, Bing rewards has been there for long time probably it has been exploited earlier so i think they've upgraded their detection system.

Not available in my country yet. Also, reading from the feedback for this new feature of Bing, it seems that it is not worth it to spend a ton of your time searching for anything you can think of by using a search engine that is way too slow and sometimes fails to return you the results you are expecting.

I've been using it for a while and like to redeem amazon codes and even rixty codes for a game of mine I play. I'll still use it, it's nice to get a small reward every now and then.

If there is no bitcoin reward, then the best way maybe will be to redeem amazon gift card to buy things or selling it for bitcoin.

I've used Bing Rewards many times and it's extremely hard to build and keep up points. Considering I hated Bing as well, I would just randomly search terms to gain more points. In a months time, I earned around 5 "ish" dollars in which I used the search engine and completed bonus offers. I'd rather put time into a pay-per-post sig campaign.

Unlinke Bing, Google is popular as it is; w/o the rewards, so giving such an option is not needed to them.

This just proves that it's useless to try to earn from it, unless you use a bot so make the searches instead of you.
For 0,16 USD per day, it makes them look like a low paying faucet.  Roll Eyes

cheers
