Avatars

Will people of a specified rank or higher be able to add and have an avatar anytime in the near future?  It is my understanding only people that kept theirs from when it was allowed have them.

It was actually disabled for quite some time.

I'm not sure what you're looking forward to, since you can already use an avatar?


Go into the Forum Profile Information and add one.

Because Full Members and above can have avatars added, so you can also add your avatar However you can still choose to add it or not.

I just become a full member today, after posting this thread, believe it or not.    Or it was the first time I noticed.  I am pretty sure I became one today though.  I am going to think carefully before I add one.  haha

You can see a link saying Go Here in your profile. Clicking it, you can put avatars.

@ the OP - Come on boss you can't start a thread questioning about avatars, figure out you're able to do one & then not put one up. We're waiting So what are you going to use?

Make sure you're aware that the avatar must be no more than 120px wide, 80px tall, and 100 KiB in size. It must be a PNG, GIF, or JPEG image. I'm going to check back on this thread in a few days & see what you've chosen .

You can also choose to use Avatar Campaign ( It works like Signature Campaigns ).
You have to wear advertiser's avatar ( Like me ) and you are paid for every post you make.

However when you joining avatar campaigns, you should note that it don't break the rule of the original signature campaign (because some campaigns don't allow you wearing their competitor's avatar).

BTW, @the_reprobate, you are just on the WAITING LIST of the avatar campaign (LIKE ME) and you don't receive payments from that campaign until you waited a spot.

The spots for the Avatar camapign are full 45/45. So, there is a waiting list with a 5 or so participants. You were added there.

You can remove your avatar. I will PM you when your turn comes and you can decide it then.
(If you choose to wear it, if you get enrolled, the posts and date of enrollment will be counted from yesterday.)

In fact I've joined the campaign's waiting list since 16th June but I'm still waiting (at the 2nd position of the list, while you're on the 5th). So I'll probably get a spot into the campaign faster than you did.

He also told me that I could remove the avatar at the meantime, however I just choose to wear it. Also you are wearing other site's signature (although it is accepted) while I'm wearing dadice's signature at the same time. So in this means I won.

Well, there are only a few avatar campaigns at the moment, and many of those are linked to a signature campaign (so, you have to either use both at the same time, or have some restrictions on what else you can advertise).
