As far as I can tell Bit-Pay.com has been down for a couple of days now, after a quick glance around I can't find any other threads about this

whats the deal?

Ive heard they are being ddosed and have been sent a ransom demand. So has walletbit.

Yes, probably.
These crackers are damaging the bitcoin economy and so its image.

This is a downright pain indeed, Im a legit provider in the bitcoin economy - not able to take btc payments now due to a little muppets greed.

You would think these security orientated idiots ( aka black muppets ) wouldn't attack their own anonymous currency based service providers - e.g Bit-pay.


Now, unfortunately i have people sending in tickets saying " i cant pay for my hosting " - sigh. Now here comes the task of setting up manual BTC payments.

If this were any other payment processor other than a Bitcoin one, law enforcement would be all over this.
