Despite the dubiousness of this claim, I engaged the OP's offer because I was due to place an order for some Apple gear.
I can confirm that it "seems legit". My shipment has arrived, my CC was charged at a discounted rate, and no Secret Service agents have arrived at my house (yet?).
It seems like it is a secret link to some kind of corporate or organizational portal to the Apple Store, with (some) discounted prices, with the following proviso: I found nothing with actually a 25% discount. Most items that had a discount were 10-20% off, depending on price. There is NO discount at all on iPads/iPods/iPhones/AppleTVs. (i.e. no ordering a new iPhone 5 with a discount with this link)
But if you plan on ordering a Macbook, monitor, iMac, etc. it probably makes sense to engage this offer. 20% off on a higher end Mac is better than any special offer or educational discount I've ever seen.
I don't know what the legality or morality of ordering a discounted Macbook from someone else's VIP portal, but I'm not surprised to see that a company as clever as Apple has found a subtle way to "segment their market", and they don't appear to check or care who is using their special rates.
