Hello all,

I was hoping someone could provide a solution to my current problem:

I am in Atlanta, Ga, USA and wanted to purchase a few miners from a seller in the UK.  Problem is he is having difficulty acquiring insurance on the shipping, but I don't mind the risk so what I would like to do is set up an escrow in which I would deposit the necessary coins, and once there is a confirmation of shipment, the coins will be released and everyone is happy.  Thanks a million in advance and happy trails.

If he is shipping via UPS, FedEx, or DHL insurance is available, I am not sure under what circumstances insurance would not be possible.. That aside If the member is very trusted than perhaps there is a legitimate reason, but outside of that I would not release coins when proof of shipment is provided, in part because the assertion insurance can't be added is questionable..

I would not release the coins, just because you will have a proof of shipment, how you know he not just puck some rocks inside better release them if you have the miners and check they are working

You defiantly should not have escrow released prior to receipt of the miners otherwise the shipment may not even be addressed to you.

You should find an escrow who should ask questions about the transaction, such as what happens if the miners are seized in customs, what happens if the miners arrive damaged, what happens if the miners are not working as described once received.

You should trust that the escrow will be fair to all parties in the event of a dispute.

If you guys need escrow I can gladly provide it for you.

As other have mentioned as well, it is best to wait for shipment to be delivered and then confirmed the miners work
