I have just received a message saying successful authorisation to my Btce account from the ip address 109.201.137.162 which apparently is based in the netherlands. This was timed at at 26.06.15 21:43. according to the message, it was 19.43 here so presumably this had just happened.
As I did not log in, it looks like the account has been hacked or brute forced. For me I dont think there are any implications, its an old account - I tried to log in and change my password but they had already done that I was not fast enough.
The message from btce is from a noreply address (That really is so smart isn't it!) so I have no idea who I should tell.
That's pretty annoying, but if you have funds on Btce, beware.
Mark.

Seems you have received a mail from something@btc-e.com. That does not mean BTC-e is hacked. It is mail spoofing and can be done to any website. Check the orginating IP of the mail in the mail header and compare it with previous mails from BTC-e.

> pheew i though money was stolen from another exchange what would have caused price bumpings you should change the thread name I dont know about price bumpings, but its always a sad day when people get money stolen by scumbags. Thing is, if I had had any money on there, it would have been. I have no doubt that in a matter of days many people will have had their money stolen from BTC-E if this attack vector is a general one, and I have no reason to think it isn't hence a post here.

The subject should read,"My computer is/was hacked" and I never used 2fa so they gained my BTC-E account? Luckily you don't have nothing on there to be stolen, that would suck if they managed to empty a big account,

Looks like your account was hacked and not BTC-e. You should change the post title and if you used your BTC-e password on any other website you should change it.

Yeah Im also getting the Error, when I click on the Login button a Pop open Saying "Server Error". Please dont relate it to any other issue, its a really good site and i think we should not relate it to Any Other issue. Its server error and will be checked by the owner.

For me Btc-e is working now. And I'm always use 2fa where it possible, I have a dedicated smartfone for it. Additionally you can set IP white list to restrict access to your account.

you can not blame any site if you dont know about it. Please check their twitter: https://twitter.com/btcecom The site was under DDOs attack and now its alive, according to the latest tweet.

I would be more worried about my computer rather than the BTC-E website. You should run some virus scans.

You almost gave a hundred people a heart attack with that title. Seems like you got hacked somehow. Possible malware on your machine.
