Over 4 hours and 5 posts later, not whitelisted! whats going on?

Hi Guys

Been on the forum for over 2 days and have way more than 5 posts but stiil stuck on the newbie forum.

Seems like this happens to quite a few.

Is there a way this can be solved?

Look in the upper left. There should be a timer "Total time logged in:"

Did this reach 4 hours yet? You need to be active for 4 hours. Having the site open in the background for 2 days doesn't work.

I was confused myself at first, but you actually have to be logged in for an entire four hours. Also once the requirements are met it is not instant, it will take 10 minutes or so.

ouch, I gotta stay 'active' for a full 4 hours.
Not fun. That's a lot of work to reach my goal of being able to talk to one guy who had one post, that was my entire reason for joining the site.

Oh well.
