Everyone loves agar.io, it's a fun and simple game.

I want to turn it into a bitcoin project.  If anyone has any ideas about how to go about this (theoretically), in terms of how to distribute the bitcoin, where the dots come from (which would represent a portion of bitcoin)?  What are people's thoughts?  I'm really interested in getting this going, as I think there's a huge opportunity here.

If anyone wants to help, PM me.  We can work on this together.

We don't really have any details.  We're here to see if there's anyone else who could propose some details or something.  We're just coders, creativity isn't really our thing.

It can be faucet like system.
Each user starts with 20 satoshi/point to the game. Game resets every 10, 20, 30 minutes etc. And top 10 players in those time periods get additional prize. Rest of the players gets their points as satoshis.
When they reach 10k sats then they can request withdraw etc.

How to monetize? Ads for sure but it's not gonna make much. (I assume)

Also; It can be like skill based gambling game. For instance; each satoshi deposited means size, 10k sats deposited then it's starting point is 10k (it's quite big).  Top 10 winners get
%50, %20, %10, %5, %5, %1, %1, %,1, %1, %1 of the pot.
Those numbers can be changed for most optimized version of it.

Maybe a fixed deposit would be nice

Sever 0 : 0.1
Server 1 : 0.01
Server 2 : 0.001

So people won't complain about HEY WHAT IF SOME PEOPLE ONLY CONTRIBUTED _ TO THE POT

Simply integrate bitcoin payment into the system and make it pay per play stuff then monetize it with advertisements.

If you need any testers I'm happy to give it a go.
Also if you need investors, I'll see too.

Good idea. It was being discussed on this forum before.

Take some tips and feedback from this thread:

For me it's pretty simple however not sure how hard it is for being coded and programmed but here we go : Each player deposit a specific amount of BTC once the wallet reachs a specific amount of BTC (lets say 0.5 BTC) the first on Dashboard will win the money and the developpers/admins of the game will get % obviously for paying host or whatever ;o

Are you looking to turn this into a gambling game?If so, here is a thread with people discussing the possibilities of agar.io as a bitcoin game: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1072925.0
Main problem with making this a good game will probably be the fact that it's so easy to bot.

I'm not looking at turning it into a gambling game, as there is certainly an element of strategy.  The idea I was thinking is that you get paid based on your position and amount of time in that position (relative to everyone else).  It is therefore not a gambling game.  Pretty much every bot I've looked at has no ability beyond about the 25% mark (meaning 75% of the players are better than you).  Therefore, you can't expect to make anything with bots really (unless you get really lucky, but the amount you'd lose would negate that).

So it would be based on advertising profits?

Nope, people would deposit and then earn depending on how well they do in the game.

I think it would be pretty interesting. Each dot worth a satoshi, or something like that. Money could come from ads/a faucet.
