If I was to create a QRCode with bitcoin private key and seal the thermal paper with self laminate plastic do you think it will still get black if I mailed it across the USA (For example)? I know hot heat outside + thermal paper = fail, but I wonder if there is a cheap way this can work?

Why does the paper have to be Thermal Paper .... Laser printed teslin is pretty indestructible.... There would be no need to laminate teslin....  I dont care for long term storage wallets with thermal paper...Just My opinion ....

Thank you for responding BG4,

Well its the only printer I have right now, it is not meant for long term storage just "send it and let customer spend it"
But I doubt I would ship thermal paper with bitcoin keys - that was a example.

Was thinking of a outdoors bitcoin treasure hunt..
