I'm going to try my hand at hosting a raffle.  If all goes well I'll set up another one with real stakes...

So here's the details.

This is a Bi-Weekly Raffle, so the Raffle ends at 7pm central time on Monday October 1st.  Any and all entries received before then will count toward the prize.
Entries are .5 btc each.  Each entry will be assigned a number starting with 1 and moving up sequentially.  At the end of the raffle I will use Random.org to put all the numbers into a random order.  The first number listed will be the winner.  And I can provide a video of this if necessary.
And it's a rolling raffle, which means I'm going to take 10% of the Pot/Prize/Jackpot, and roll it over for the next Bi-Weekly Raffle which will start at 7:01 pm central time on Monday October 1st.
The payout will be 80% of the total entries, 10% will roll over, and I keep 10% for keeping track of everything.  The one selected winner takes the entire 80%.

If we reach 100 entries (50 btc), There will be three winners instead of 1.  And the payout will change to 1st - 50%, 2nd - 20%, 3rd - 10%.  The idea behind this being that the more winners we have the better.  And once the pot hits 50btc, its enough to split up and still have some nice payouts.

If the raffle goes well, I may switch it to a weekly, but for now I'll keep it at two weeks.

And since this is the first round, I have started the pot at 4btc.  I will not take 10% of those 4 btc, but I will hold 10% for the next round.  I will only take 10% of the actual entries for this round.  That way there is at least a little incentive to enter.

Please don't use any btc for this raffle that you can't afford to lose.  Obviously there is no guarantee that you will get them back.

And as for the entries themselves, you can pm me and let me know your sending an entry and I will use your nick to keep track of them, or you can stay anonymous and I can use your btc addy to keep track, but if you choose to stay anonymous, please make sure that you can receive payments with the address you use to send the entry, because that's the address I will use.  I'm not responsible if you screw that up...

And last but not least, I will post here at least daily with updates and current totals for the jackpot.

Nevermind.  Not enough interest...

No takers yet, so I'm shutting it down.

I guess the deal wasn't sweat enough or something.  I think I'm gonna put a raffle together for a big screen tv instead.  If interested keep an eye out I should have it posted this week sometime...
