The difficulty of this coin is so low that it might be worth it to mine it for a little while. I'm in. Wink

With Canada Day just happening and the 4th of July about to happen (Our team is multinational), Im amazed at how well everyone is working in the background and balancing the holiday in regards to getting the behind the scenes stuff done.

I will be uploading a roadmap for SPEC that will touch on the projects we have coming up or are already working on, within the next 24 hours.

CryptoWatcher is our main focus however there are a lot of smaller projects that are happening in between as well as after. Not to mention the other service oriented sites that will be started after CryptoWatcher is up and rolling.

Those wanting to mine, now is the time to do it. Keep in mind once we start rocking this out, its going to be pretty fantastic.

How do we unlock the wallet?  It's encrypted but locked still.  Can't find an unlock wallet in settings.

SPEC is POW. You only need to unlock it as you are sending SPEC. It will prompt you to enter your password right before sending a transaction.

A fresh install should not come encrypted. It should only be encrypted if you have chosen to encrypt it. https://www.speccoin.com is where you will find the official wallets.

If need be you can always go int the console and enter
Code:
walletpassphrase password <timeout>
and it will unlock the wallet for a period of time.
Code:
<timeout>
could be
Code:
1000
for instance.

SPEC General Roadmap has been added to the SPEC Announcement. This roadmap will be refined as we go and each point will be followed by its own relative information.

Some of the smaller projects will be worked on concurrently as the larger projects are underway. Smaller projects may be added if they are needed & serve a greatly USEFUL purpose to the SPEC community.
