I will pick Djokovic and Murray this year, IMO Roger Federer is old now, his age is over, he lost to wawrinka in French Open with the ridiculous result of 0-3 , although he is the king of grass court, he will be like nadal on Roland Garros.

These are the big 2 to watch out for but you wont get much decent odds on them, maybe a player like wawrinka could be a good pick.  He is in good form and is not bad on grass as we have seen in previous years.

I'd like to make a prediction about this but all I see about wimbledon is really the results, since it hasn't been in free TV in my country for 15+ years.
Always wonder how all the other 3 grand slams can be on free tv while the most prestigious grand slam with the longest tradition is only on pay-tv.

I'm not going to have a bet on Wimbledon but I will be a very interested spectator. I am in poor form with my football bets so maybe I should take some time out from betting for a week or so.
I will give my predictions for Wimbledon though -

I think Djokovic will be the champion this year especially because after losing in the French Open Final to Djokovic he will be like a wounded animal, hurt & very damgerous.
Murray could feature & is likely to push Djokovic hard. I don't think Nadal or Federer will get to the final.

Maybe somebody else could surprise & get to the final but I think Djokovic will be the champion. That French Open lose will make him hungrier than ever to succeed this time.

Yeah.. Predicting before qtr finals is pretty much just rooting for your fav player..or the one who has just won the previous tourney. Generally Djoker is a good bet though.. But I have a feeling that he might miss out this time..

I don't think I'll be betting on Wimbledon winner, I'll only play individual matches and that too after the rounds have been cleared. Djokovic is everyone's favorite and he'll most probably win it but it could be a new guy too. But let's leave the Men for a minute and talk about Women's singles. I think Serena although being the fav will not win it this time and neither will Kvitova, I am quite positive we'll be having a new women's singles winner this time, the only question is who would it be?

I think the winner of Wimbledon women's singles will be disputted between Serena,Radwanska A. and maybe Wozniacki as they are the best women tennis players at the moment. A suprise would be the young girl Bencic who has shown exceptional skills in the other tournaments. But he is only 18 years old and I think the experience of the big players will overtake her.

The tournament is at a very early stage right now and you're not going to get better odds in matches where there is a new/lesser seeded opponent in front of big names/seed players, once it gets to Round 4 and Quarter finals you can expect better odds but if you follow these matches they'll give you an idea on who is in better form and you can bet on those players in later rounds. Yesterday the girl from Russia gave some minor trouble to Serena in the first round, which was fun to watch.

Andy Murray for Wimbledon 2015!
It has been a very impressive year for him.He made a wonderful come back after his surgery.He really is a CHAMPION!
His serve is at its best this year(unlike last year) and his movements has been a revelation.
His movement on grass is the best in the world. He takes short, panther-like steps and is always so well balanced.

I think Djokovic is in great shape and that at this most prestigious tournament in the world needed only to crown his excellent performance this year. My favorite is Djokovic.

Raonic is 24 & Nishikori is 25, they're in the top 10 but neither are really likely to win a Grand Slam atm with all the top guys still in their peak.
Maybe their time will come one day?
As for Wimbledon I think Djokovic or Murray will win it, probably Djokovic as he'll be extra motivated after losing the French Open.

No upsets yesterday then, Murray, Djokovic, Nadal & Federer all safely through. These are the very early rounds though so unlikely to be any real surprises. I wouldn't want to be playing outdoor tennis today though, it's a heat wave in the UK, getting upto 32 degrees celsius today (roughly 90 degrees F).

Yeah I think Djokovic is probably hurt after losing the French Open to Wawrinka. I'd probably rather face Djokovic when he was complacent or something. Because of the RG loss I think he's going to be extra motivated to win at Wimbledon. I like Murray but it just seems that if Djokovic is playing his best tennis not a single player in the world can live with him. Sure if he's under par he can be beaten but when he's at 100% none of them can beat him.

I will bet for Novak Djokovic. He is man from Serbia and Serbia is my country. Because of, all of Serbian people support Novak Djokovic. Federer and Murray also are two of favourite players who fight for title of Wimbledon.

Tennis is really punishing on the body, Nadal especially has had lots of bad injuries, pretty sure he had a really bad knee injury & as you mentioned he's suffered with his shoulder. Federer seems to keep going & going but those two will fade over the next 2-3 years. They've won a lot of trophies though & had their time at the top.

Djokovic & Murray will dominate for the next few years imo. Who is the next star to consistently compete for Grand Slams though? I know Wawrinka beat Djokovic in the French Open but can he do it consistently? My prediction is a Djokovic vs Murray final at Wimbledon 2015.

I am agree with you, nadal and roger age are gone, djokovic and murray are the giants, maybe wawrinka will be another giant too, but I don't see any others have ability to challenge those big 5 players, even in next 3-5 years, it will be the age of djokovic and murray, or wawrinka, but no others can be better than them, at least I can't find one now.

I totally agree with those bets, Djokovic & Wawrinka the finalists in the last Grand Slam (French). Cilic will definitely win too. The big players are getting through pretty easily at the moment. No shocks or surprises yet. I expect the competition to hot up next week when the matches will be more competitive.

At the moment it's too easy for the likes of Murray, Nadal, Federer, Wawrinka, Djokovic. They'll be more tested as the tournament goes on.

Edit - OMG Nadal is out! He's just lost to world number 102 - Dustin Brown. I bet that's cost the bookies.

This is it for nadal imo, career is over or very much downhill from here.  Imagine how hard it will be for him to go from world beater to struggling to beat people.  If he cant win on clay anymore then hes stuffed. Djokovic would be the favourite with the bookies & I'd have to agree with that. I'm British so obviously I want Murray to win but I just can't see it. Djokovic rarely ever loses, his loss at the French Open final was a shock & I think it'll spur him on & make him extra determined to win Wimbledon.

Really? Shit... I saw Troicki go 2-0 sets up, Popsipil pulled it back to 2-1 but then I had to go out. I presumed Troicki would rally himself & win the 4th set. God damn it, Anderson had chances to finish Djokovic & couldn't put him away. He had several break points on Djokovic's serve in the 5th set & couldn't finish him off. Djokovic is just such a great champion, you can't let him off the hook when you're on top of him.

I totally agree, the semi finals 'should' be Djokovic vs Wawrinka & Murray vs Federer. I don't expect any surprises but you just never know. That match yesterday just seems so defining to me, I mean Djokovic could so easily have been knocked out. He wasn't though & I just think he'll take strength from that, he's so so strong mentally, nothing phases him.

I really want Murray to win the whole tournament but I fear the chance for Djokovic to slip up has gone & he'll power all the way to be Wimbledon champion 2015. The man is a winning machine.

Andy murray leaded with 3-0, and I bet heavy on murray won that set with odds 1.01, but he lost the set to Fererer, goddamn it so I lost lots of money on set betting, although it looked like Murray should have won that set cos he leaded with the score of 3-0.

Epic 5th set in the Wawrinka vs Gasquet 1/4 final. Those 5th sets can go on forever until somebody wins by 2 games. No tie breaks in a 5th set. Ouch that is a pretty heavy bet i did think it was a close call between wawrinka vs gasquet.  That last set could have gone either way.

Like you guys said the odd for Djokovic is very low,but in my oppinion Gasquet has big chances to win the grand slam as he had a great performance during the Wimbledon and his gameplay is very close to Djokovic.

That was a pretty easy assumption that Djokovic would reach the finals. He had a pretty easy draw compared to other seeds. Its not over though, Federer is in fine form and was moving well yesterday. It could be a tight match. Its a 50-50 game and anyone can win this. I'd say federer has a better chance as he is the master of grass court.

It was great to see Serena win today.  I hope she can get the grand slam and set new records.  I just love it when there is an athlete dominating and Serena could be at the finale of her career soon.  I hope she dominates for a few more years.  I wish the end of the match had been better.  Not because of the players but it just seemed like the staff didn't have their stuff together.  At one point Serena was asking for balls but it seemed like no one would help her.  And then at the end of the match it seemed like the judge or maybe one of the line judges paused for too long to finally declare the match point and it just added an awkward feel to the finish and sort of robbed Serena of some of her finishing glory.  It was confusing to say the least.

Exactly, I think reaching the Wimbledon's finals at this age is commendable in itself but this is how it always happens, the younger players take over the old ones. I just hope we see something similar in Women's Tennis where Serena seems to be dominating all the major events.
