I think that Bitcoin also has to focus on other regions of the world if they really want to make a impact in this world. There are allot of countries where most people do not even know what Bitcoin is. They need to also gain those peoples attention so that they can bigger as a company and currency.

Bitcoin is very popular in Brazil, and they adopted bitcoins much faster then rest of the world. For me this means that if one country have all this shops already, soon other counties will follow this example. Is there any special reason why Brazilians added bitcoin as payment method in so many shops around their country? Do they have a lot of miners? Is there a pt of early adopters from there? Maybe Satoshi Nakamoto is from Brazil?

Its just so insane that Brazil has some many stores and I even think they have a lot more stores right now because this thread is pretty old. Most likely they already grown again in the time, its getting bigger and bigger( the bitcoin) as you can see.

Good going Brazil. People might have huge demand for bitcoin in the future, as brazilians have a declining currency, somehow stringent capital controls, spend many hours on the internet and most people own a smartphone
That is pretty nice that Brazil already has that many stores that accept Bitcoin but Brazil also is a big country. I think that Bitcoin has to focus on other countries as well because they have not reached all of them. I think bitcoin is going to be better in Brazil because of that large country bitcoin is able to make adoption with that country. And for sure the people there are already enjoying the use of bitcoin and since the population of Brazil is big they are able to make some good transactions there and as they shop it is very convenient at all no need to bring more fiat. If Brazil adopts in large scale the bitcoin thats one good reason, bitcoin is worthing twice the salary they earn there, soo besides the interest on the amazing price of bitcoin, they already know, atleast a part of them, that bitcoin can be traded and converted into fiat.

I would think this is ramping up just in time for the Olympics that is starting in a month from now. A lot of people will be wanting to pay using there bitcoin cards. It was all planned out that way to maximize revenue into their economy.
I dont think so because they wouldnt look into bitcoin just for olympic and this thread is pretty old. I think they just realised that its a way to improve the economy. Brazil needed the help and more countries need it we just have to figure out how to let others follow brazil.

It was a pretty good step but afterwards its mostly a bag of money they are throwing away, I think that brazil is one of the country's that is really walking faster than other country's with the bitcoin. This is a pretty good sign for them and maybe it can boost there economy.

Good to know that there is already a country that considered by a lot of stores. For me, that 150 stores in Brazil is already enough to see that bitcoin is getting recognized there and for sure that is going to contribute a lot in the economy of bitcoin. If all countries are just going to be inspired with Brazil for sure they are going to become rich with it.

Yes its pretty sick that it has so many stores, for some part its good but I also think that its good for the economy in brazil due to the fact its a poor country right ? On this way the bitcoin in brazil has a good future a head and that is also a good sign if you are asking me.

You are right, In Europe we have very few shops which accepts bitcoins. Most of the sites are online which accepts bitcoins in Europe and Asia. In South America you will find a lot more physical bitcoins stores where you can buy goods for bitcoins directly.

I think because there is a very strong banking industry in Europe and most people get access to it, in Latin America there are substantial groups of population that don’t have access to the banking industry, so I think bitcoin is filling the gaps in there.

Brazil has indeed a lot of stores and I think that we can see this part more growing than ever due to the fact that it has a good future a head.
I did not know that Brazil had this many stores that accept Bitcoin, where I am from there are almost no store that allow you to pay with Bitcoin. Maybe that that is going to change in the future.

Since this topic it already has a lot more stores without any doubts, this topic is pretty old so I'm sure that it has been grown since. I hope more country's will follow but we still have to see this!

Yeah, i'm sure more shops will appear on that country. The sad is, in my country there is really rare to find a shop that accept bitcoin, maybe it's because many people still don't know about bitcoin in my country.

You are right this topic is already old so there has to be a lot more stores by now in Brazil, I think the bitcoin has a good future so it also will stay growing. Plus this will also happen in other country's.

That's alot of shops they have that accept bitcoin. Over here locally there's not much shops accepting them anywhere really. I think in the UK they are making big improvements too and they are very big there cause I've seen alot of places there accepting bitcoin actually.

They were lucky indeed having stores accepting bitcoin, until now the progress of bitcoin here in our country is a bit slow and many people dont know about it yet, im looking forward that everyone will show interest about btc especially the store owners.
