block explorer would be nice but as we're going to be stuck on the current block for about 3 weeks I don't personally feel any sense of urgency

This coin has actively been exploited - look through that post from earlz.

This coin is broken - it does not sync with a fixed/correct version of pbkdf2.cpp - that means someone has actively used the exploit already, the coin cannot be salvaged.

Fascinating... "the bad guys have the upper hand"

Altcoin exploits are becoming more and more advanced.

As far as we know, it affects Pharmacoin (the original exploit), HexxoCoin and MasterDoge. I don't know of any others but at this point if a coin's heritage can be traced to Pharma then it's likely to contain the exploit.

We had no idea this codebase had an exploit in it until Earlz clarified. Which was hours after our attempt what we thought would be a fix (re-target diff. every 25mins).

Then Earlz posts his findings. We agree the code is broken and the fork won't solve that, now that is.

We are going to replace 'pbkdf2.cpp' file that is exploited, make new genesis block with premine of 4350000 MDOGE, redistribute after collecting all addresses from who has a balance in their wallet using the blockexplorer rich list, then send them all to their same address.

Please dump your privkeys and save them in a text file to be able to collect your new coins.

How to :

Start your wallet, go to Help, debug windows, Console.
Type: dumpprivkey YOUR_ADDRESS_HERE , press enter then save that long string in a text file for later use.

3 hours or so.

Thank you to Earlz for his findings/postings.

This sounds like a solid plan and when this is done I will be open to reviewing it.
