TalkBit is a community forum revolving around the cryptocurrency Bitcoin. This is a platform to discuss anything and everything related to Bitcoin regardless of your knowledge of cryptocurrencies. With a friendly and welcome community, we aim to make the transition to digital currency as simple as possible for everyone. TalkBit offers a marketplace to all users wishing to engage in the buying & selling of goods. We have also done what we can to protect marketplace users best. As a community, we hope to be the go-to forum for anyone looking to engage in discussions related to Bitcoin. Knowing the history of many other Cryptocurrency forums, we realize the importance of design & security. TalkBit has been designed to provide the most pleasant & safest user experience possible. We utilize HSTS & SSL technology to ensure that your connection to TalkBit is secure. We have done everything we can to avoid any sort of compromise that can occur along with encryption to make sure that your information is safe.

While we have opened up the community forums, we have many more additions under development to enhance the TalkBit experience.

Referral Contest

As we are a new community surrounding cryptocurrency, it is difficult for us to get a decent & active userbase. We realize that people enjoy incentives and rewards for helping out, so TalkBit.org is hosting a referral contest with multiple winners and prizes.

How can I participate?

It's simple and easy to participate! When referring a member, request that they input your username into the referrer field. They will also need to make an introductory post in the Introductions sector, this does not need to include your username. This will count as your participation in the contest.

How does this contest work?

The users who get the most active referrals will be rewarded with the appropriate prizes. There will be 5 winners and prizes in total. Every 48 hours, we will total up user referrals and update the count in this thread. You will be able to see your progress here.

What are the prizes?

The prizes are as follows;

First Place: 0.25 BTC & special 'Contributor' userbar

Second Place: 0.10 BTC

Third Place: 0.05 BTC

Fourth Place: 0.025 BTC

Fifth Place: 0.01 BTC

Yes, this is right, removing the www part lets you access the site, which is weird, never saw it happening before. It's just another forum and like others it's lacking activity but it's still young but I didn't see any incentive of registering there.

It has something to do with A Records I believe.

I'm already in it, let's try making some activity. Love the design though.

Use microsoft explorer to access the site by simply entering talkbit.org in your address bar without the www.
