Up for sale is a one dollar presidential coin of the 5th President, James Monroe. The coin is dated 2008 and was minted in Denver.
The coin contains a portrait of the President on the obverse and an image of the Statue of Liberty on the reverse. The coin was designed by United States Mint Sculptor-Engraver Don Everhart. Along with portrait on the obverse, the inscription of the President's name, the years in which they served, a number showing the order in which they served along with "IN GOD WE TRUST" are also found. The reverse features the inscription "$1" and "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA". On the edge of the coin are the inscriptions "E PLURIBUS UNUM", "2008", the mint mark and 13 stars. The two pictures are of the actual coin you will receive.
