No. Whoever made this must come to their senses. Such a campaign is only wasting everyone's time and will never even get close to the amount that it needs.
not only bitcoin it seems, but many other altcoin, are getting notice heavily, and are increase in price, it will surely shift the concept toward altcoin and will destroy a bit the fud around them
No. That's only natural i.e. it has happened each time when Bitcoin goes up. Altcoins should not be getting exposure since they are pretty much useless.
Yes, I think that the more important thing is all of the media that bitcoins is getting. I just read an article on CNBC website, a pretty major outlet. Sure it wasn't that well written but at least it has an audience. I think the twitter thing can't hurt, and it might end up helping some people in Greece if they can get their money into bitcoins before the government steals it or the banks fold (yay fractional reserve banking!)
Bitcoin will gain a lot of exposure to the public from this big event. No matter they buy or not, they know they have alternative to fiat money without the centralized gov's control.
The problem is that there isn't enough of it. I'm pretty sure that most of the Greeks have no idea what Bitcoin is. As someone pointed out to me recently, there is more exposure right now in Switzerland even though the Greeks are the ones that need a way out. I'm still wondering why someone didn't travel there to help the people out?
