Hello Members!
I found a new site that mines scrypt in the cloud. It is excactly like scrypt.cc. The time zone of the login timestamps is the same as the scrypt.cc one's. But at this site you can buy khs or ghs at a fixed price (KHS: 900sat / GHS: 140,000sat). And then later sell them at a lower fixed price. (KHS: 850sat / GHS: i don't know.)

So i believe in the longlife of the site, same as scrypt.cc and invested 0.002BTC i will keep you updated of the experience i made.
First thing i could say is: I mined for 5 hours and clicked accidentally the button "Trade 0.00000601BTC to 0GHS"

This is the entry in my history:

Quote
DATE                        | TRANSACTION                   | DATA
30-06-2015 07:08:04 | Trade Bitcoin to GHashrate | 6.01250016E-6 - 0.0085892859428571

The current GHS hashrate remained at 0GHS.
And this happened as i wanted to sell the GHS:

Quote
DATE                        | TRANSACTION                   | DATA
30-06-2015 07:08:13 | Trade GHashrate to Bitcoin | 0 - 0

So my first mining reward is lost now...

It will take about 35 days until my first withdrawal, because the limit is 0.001. But it seems there is now tx fee. I hope so.

Edit: Here is the link to the site: scryptocean.com
And my referral link (feel free to use): https://www.scryptocean.com/?ref=LsHallo

I did a whois to the domain. All is hidden by whoisguard protection. So the country is panama but i don't believe that... Time zone would fit, but why they should the guard and state the right country?

The domain is bought at enom.com as i encountered of the whois data.
At enom there are templates for websites. I think they could have used this one:

The only missing part is the band over the logo and navigation bar.

And their favicon seems that it wasn't edited and states the template ones.

Here you can get an overview of their templates: http://www.enom.com/web-site-builder/default.aspx?utm_source=ear&utm_medium=banner&utm_campaign=q4_wsb&utm_content=bottomright&SourceID=ear_banner_q4_wsb_bottomright

Is anyone going to rent a miner there and point it on a pool to see if the miner is real? For me it's too much risk to spend 0.027BTC to try the miner. I even don't have enough.

The insertion amount back to the site is not possible to withdraw. At the specified pool and did not appear for 24 hours leased capacity.

As i saw today the reward decreased from 20 satoshi/10min with my 222khs to 13 satoshi/10min. But if i calculate all things this is the result:
222khs*12.8571422satoshi/day = 2854satoshi/day
2854satoshi/140=20.388 satoshi per 10 min!
Not 13 satoshi per 10 min.
Previously it was 18/10min and therefore 20/10min.

Also i'm not longer able to sell my khs. So they got me locked onto my khs and i hope they pay for 70 days to get my roi. But these signs are not good and i don't like their strategy of catching new users with the ability to sell but later you aren't able to sell. Without any notice.

Edit: Thanks to the user who used my ref link with 1111khs! Thumbs up!

I withdraw money on the site, it says after 6 hours you do not get the contact mailbox. But after more than 6 hours I still have not received, I have tried to contact hello@scryptocean.com mailbox and I have not received any reply yet from scryptocean.com.

So it seems like that it is one more cloud mining website you should never trust, no of them is legit.

I also invested into them, not too much by my standards, for evaluation purposes.

Since I joined:
1. They removed the ability to sell KHS for BTC.
2. I noticed that their contact us page does not work.

I sent them an email to query the above, still waiting for a response. I also advised them about the contact page not working and asked where I can see photos of their operation.

I also responded to their 30% off campaign for scrypt.cc users (https://scrypt.cc?ref=balvm) but they are yet to respond to ANY of my mails sent to hello@scryptocean.com.

Eish! To find a legit cloud mining company out there...

Up to date, no response to my emails.

Which leads me to think that scryptocean.com is YET another SCAM.

At this point it seems "investing" in any cloudmining operation is a sure way to lose your money Wink

As a last post, in an attempt to prevent this from happening to others, I reported them to their ISP, for what it is worth.

The usual ponzi stuff.

If they do not have photos of their farms or mining address available to the public, they DO NOT MINE.

So I ll pass and I suggest people to stop giving your hard earned coins to scammers.

Go PoS instead, buy some stake coins, I like DMD Diamond.

And the site is total dead now. I was hoping after some days of downtime it will come back but it wasn't.
Sad about that 0.5€, but better than losing 20€ or more.

scryptocean.com is scam
