Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I just calculated one would need to transfer over 2,406 NMC to BTC (4.5BTC), before withdrawing, before using BTC-E with lower EXCHANGE fee would be worth it over Bitparking's lower WITHDRAW fee

In other words;

Don't use BTC-E over BitParking unless you exchange over 300 NMC before withdrawing (at current rate of 0.0018 -> 0.002 BTC per NMC)

Let's double check by solving this equation:
X * .998 -.01 > X * .996 -.001

X is the amount in needed to transfer into BTC before withdrawl for BTC-E to be viable over BitParking

I got X = 4.5 @ 0.00187 that's ~ 2,406 NMC

Example: suppose you have 2,000 NMC you want to transfer into BTC
Deposit 2,000 NMC, trade @ 0.00187 for BTC = BTC3.74

BitParking after 0.4% fee = 3.72504
BTC-E after 0.2% fee = 3.73252

Withdraw from BitParking - 0.001 Fee = 3.72404
Withdraw from BTC-E - 0.01 Fee = 3.72252

You can see that at 2,000 NMC, BitParking is still going to return you more BTC

Volume: Estimate ~18,000 NMC Sep 26 2012
[Estimate by taking about 6 hrs of trades, multiple by 4 and that's 24 hours of trades: https://vircurex.com/welcome/index?base=NMC&alt=BTC&d=7
Vircurex volume for BTC/NMC is showing a volume of 10. Or am I reading it wrong? Is their volume in BTC?

ya convert that as BTC to NMC and you get somewhere over 5,000 which is only the recent trades, it doesn't show a full 24hrs in recent trades

Been looking for their original thread, geez so hard to find...should all be in the same place and stickied but NO
