Would satoshi be eligible and/or who would  accept it on his behalf ?

Do you ever think there will be a bitcoin museum created to house this award if satoshi ever wins it ?

Nobel prize can only be awarded to a living person. And since you can never determine whether an anonymous person is alive, I guess you can't award an anonymous entity a nobel prize. I could be wrong, though.

http://www.nobelweb.org/2011/07/14/the-nobel-prize-a-few-rules/

It does not appear that you have to have a name to win the prize. However, it does appear you have to be alive. And you have to be nominated by someone qualified.

Satoshi could post his bitcoin address to receive the prize to, and sign it with his publicly available PGP key to prove that it's him and that he's alive.

I completely agree with this! Let's go find Satoshi a nomination!

+1

I can get you 7 different votes for the Baseball Hall of Fame, 3 for the Football Hall of Fame, actually have an Oscar in my home and know several voting members, but the Nobel is beyond even my remarkable connections.

It would have to be the Nobel Memorial for Economics Sciences, but certainly applicable.

Do you truly believe this is one person's job? If he/she's real, he/she most definitely has PhDs into:

1. Economics
2. Computer Programming
3. High level Mathematics
4. Statistics
5. Forensics / Cryptography

... and most possibly on several other fields too. I'd classify him/her as a top rated IQ man/woman on a level over 200. IF he's/she's one man/woman you will definitely knew he/she was around. Every time he/she was starting to talk everybody would stare.

No. IMHO it's a team job.

Adult IQs are measured by standard deviations, in which the highest IQ can be 200 and 90% of people are between 70 and 130.

The highest IQ ever recorded was by Marilyn vos Savant with 228; however that is a mental status ratio IQ (used for children).

I was referring to the mental ability and not the IQ as a measurement. He/She should be a mind blowing person if ever existed.
