CRN

CRN exists natively within the Currenion.  There are 10 billion CRNs in Currenion network, 90% of CRNs will be given away to gateways, merchant， market makers，developers and common users.

To protect Currenion from abusive creation of excess ledger entries, each Currenion account is required to have a small reserve of CRN ( now is 5 CRNS) to create ledger entries. This requirement is intended to be a negligible amount for normal users, while preventing a potential attacker from amassing a large number of fraudulent accounts to “spam” the Currenion. As a second line of defense, with each transaction that is processed, 0.00001 CRN is destroyed. This is not a fee that is collected by any one — the CRN is destroyed and ceases to exist. This transaction fee is also designed to be negligible for users.

CRN has great value as a bridge currency. Because each gateway’s balances trade as distinct assets within Currenion, the number of potential currency pairings can become quite large. Instead of quoting every possible currency/gateway combination, CRN can serve as a useful bridge currency to enable these transfers. This is possible because if every currency is liquid to CRN, then every currency is liquid to every other currency.

I downloaded your Windows client and am scanning it for viruses before I check it out. Will post my thoughts here when I've done so.

EDIT:

Both compressed and .exe files passed Virustotal checks with zero warning flags. Local scans showed the file to be clean.

I ran the Currenion sandboxed and it did not appear to create any unwanted or extraneous processes. I created a secret key and a throwaway login, and was able to see the inner workings of the wallet system.

Looks potentially pretty cool-- a hold-to-unlock system depending on whether you want to be a gateway, merchant, or market-maker/liquidity provider. Like a distributed Coingateway service.
