So I just got a message from Tappabit saying they found a fix and that the campaign can continue as planned.

Here is the update from their thread:

Good News!

The site will not be closing, we found a good fix to the exploit.

The solution has not been implemented yet though! We hope we can fix this ASAP.

I will update the thread when we do!

To explain what is going on.

The way the game is designed, makes it easy to cheat on. I didnt know this would be a big problem, at least for the begin.
I can see now how it can be a problem though, especially for the long term, which is all I care about.

This is a problem with PVP and Clicker games. Finding the perfect solution is difficult and will take a lot of resources.
I ll keep trying to think of a solution, but If I come to nothing...

I ll be taking down the game in 3 days time, so please if you have any deposits, withdraw them now.

I hope this makes sense for people. It was never my intention to make people feel cheated.

I will message everyone shortly but will likely allow and extra two days for people to complete posts if they fell behind due to the confusion. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Sorry for the trouble I caused to all those working hard on this campaign.

This type of game (skill based, pvp) is a risky business and can be exploited by different groups of people, at the same time I am spenting lots of money on this game not only to prevent these exploits but also to promote it.

These are legitimate reasons to make me doubt the viability of the project. I think its to early to give up so I am not giving up!

Next time things will be handled a lot more smoothly. I can assure you.
