I got my Bit-x.com MasterCard (& debieven if I'am against those Credit t cards ) just yesterday and I was wondering how secure they are . (not Bit-x.com only) but I mean in general Advcash , Xapo and all the others .
If they have that MasterCard logo on the card does it mean it's secure by MasterCard exactly or what ? I mean if I put money on it will I have any risks ? or the Bitcoin company that have that card is the one who have control on them since I have to send money to their account associated with the card ? :/

Since you are directly transferring the money to them before they help you to load it, you have to trust that they won't run away with your BTC. When it has the mastercard logo, it means that the card will be accepted at places where they accept mastercard.

I see , thank you very much .I guess that we need high trust to use such services to be honest , I wouldn't trust any online wallet for now unless it's supported by a lot of companies and very known ... but I guess I still can't trust since what happened to Mtgox tought us a lot of useful things  Roll Eyes wondering if those cards can be used to verify Paypal account or not .
I even see a  low fees cards and almost free to order which makes it very phishy you know

Myself I wouldn't put too much Bitcoin onto these cards just in case, a small bit to test the waters would be advisable.

also mastercard is aginst bitcoin, there is a possibility that those card may not work forever

personally , I'd use only my mobile wallet(a cheap one) for real life shopping, and my local wallet(Core) for online shopping from my home

Not really sure what he meant by that, all the Android wallets I've used so far are free (mycelium, bitcoin wallet etc). Could buy yourself a cheap android mobile, I bought one a few months back and only use it for 2FA (for exchanges) and as a hot wallet.

Considering how rabidly against BTC Mastercard is, I find these cards something of an anomaly. They shut down Neteller within a very short space of time. I guess the only reason some of these other cards are still going is because they're so small. I wouldn't want to be caught with my pants down with one of these.

Don't know about their security, just used them once and can say that they work here fine, but the only thing I would say is, they have much higher fees as compared to the locals that we use here...

does bit-x card really have the MasterCard logo on it? is it even allowed (legal) to use their logo since MC is against bitcoin.

I don't know if it's legal or not but yes it does have their logo on it , however there is a weird thing ... how come that it's written Bit-x.com on as Cardholder and not my real name as I sent it ?? I mean now it's like they own the card and the money on it or some shit ? scary stuff

You can have your name on there if you pay extra. They work along similar lines to prepaid credit cards. Quite a few of them don't have your name on there either.

i mean a cheap mobile phone, smarthphone for your bitcoin activity(with only a small amount inside it), so if you lose it or someone will steals it, you will not lose much
