Plz give some more information. But might be overheating or you are running something that does consume computing power of GPU.

Even 120 is slow for stock performance. Should be somewhere around 150Mhash/s.
Please give details on OS, driver version and OC software if you're using any.

ensure you have the right SDK and ccc installed. try other miners, i first used guiminer and achieved around 280 hash when i first started mining, now after experience and switching to phoenix wiht my 5870 and the right flags im getting 440-460, thats almost double. Also try experimenting with other pools. If your temps are going over 80c then just run ur fan at max, take the side panels off as well (thats more of a high end gpu thing though)

Also check your power options. Set them to best performance and set Turn off display and Put computer to sleep to never.
Btw I'm able to get ~200 MHash/s with my 5770 and about 170 without overclock using Guiminer. Just use extra flags:  -v -w256

I get those same kind of numbers using -v -w128. I thought it was a model wide setting. All I've been seeing is for all 5xxx, and 6xxx to use -w128 for best performance. Maybe it's dependent on other system variables! Huh

Tryed your settings and seems like im getting 3-4 Mhash/s more. Thank you Smiley)

dont worry about minor hash differences, system variables and other factors would play a part. differences of upto 5-10 arnt really breakers for your bitcoin mining operation. Whereas if you can improve your mining hash by at least 20 then thats a notable difference.

The best things are to overclock your gpu and underclock ur mem. Use msi afterburner, amd clock tool to do this. remember to keep below 90c, I usually aim at 79-80c.

Btw what is exactly the point of underclocking memory ? Generating less heat or what ?

well ill be honest im not too technically minded, but when i did so not only did i get an extra 30-50 hash, my temp was 10c lower and apparently it lowers power usage. Only underclock as far as 300 or 185 if its a dedicated rig otherwise ull get hangs and crashes. I do use one chrome tab though at 185 to check forum posts and seems to work fine
