Hi I just sent 2.43 btc from localbitcoins to another wallet at 7pm it is now nearly 12 and it is still showing up as no confirmations on blockchain.
Don't think I've ever had it take this long in 3 years, any ideas what the hold up could be?

Here is a link to the transaction - https://blockchain.info/address/13okt3FMVCmbDsQQ3oXsvYroArTjVYj1xc

Thanks

Excuse my short answer, there are so many of these questions today. Your transaction is similar to these I have answered:

Seems like another stress test is going on. Backlog is building up on mempool. Most of the last blocks are 900+ KB.

5 hours as happened to me two or three times.  I guess my online wallet was not providing a big enough transaction fee.  Undecided

After looking at the transactions chart could we say that this stress test is looking to break 200,000 transactions or at lease get close to it https://blockchain.info/charts/n-transactions?timespan=2year&showDataPoints=false&daysAverageString=1&show_header=true&scale=0&address=

There are A LOT of unconfirmed transactions in the blockchain. Depending on when you made your transaction out your LocalBitcoins wallet you may have sent it before we raised our fees. We've made a few more adjustments to them to help transactions confirm but we still have transactions from yesterday which haven't gone through. As this is a problem with the Blockchain there's nothing that we can do now for transactions that have already been broadcasted.

No problems here. I always use the default transaction fee (which is usually set automatically). Remember to always set it on automatic.
It seems tho that those spam tests are having an impact on lots of people's business.
