Or is it still just Theymos's and Badbear's subjective opinion that make the decision?!?
Yes. But i have to ask a question? Do you think they should also bring back Wowowee? That has a better chance than you getting a sub-forum. ~BCX~ It seems you know a lot about us Filipinos , I'm wondering Anyways I am starting to lose hope on getting our own sub-forum (cuz of the recent issues about shitposters) , I somehow agree with you, maybe bringing back Wowowee has a better chance than having our own sub-forum here I think you win, I should give you a jacket

Im losing hope too in having our own sub section but it's ok. No worries. Until the end I don't see any clear concern by Mr. Talangka Express why he strongly disagree about the concern. All his questions has been answered properly but still... anyways it's fine now. Hopefully that he can now peacefully sleep every night as this concern was already accepted by our fellow kabayan that it won't be granted. P.S : Have your BP check as your kabayan concern. Gtg.

The Philippines will get their own sub when Theymos finishes launching the new multi-million-dollar forums.
Any day now...
EDIT: I was being facetious; I have no idea when the new forums are launching, or if management will look down from their ivory tower and bestow a sub to our Filipino friends.

do you mean the new forum? AFAIK all stats and infos will be carried over to the new forum, sig campaigns will still be there and it depends on the campaign management if they still want to continue advertising in the forum thru signatures

I assume this is just change of Xenforo script. Theres too much at risk if Theymos starts a new one from scratch considering the amount of contents and the link back going to the pages of the forum.

I am surprised that the Philippines subforum (well, sub-thread) is that huge. To be honest it's the first time I've ever looked at the "Other languages" section and i've been in here for years now. It was a pleasant surprise. With that amount of posts, I think they deserve a subforum.. if a country will benefit from Bitcoin, those are countries like Philippines.

I guess he is still referring on this post of BadBear way back July 2015 Well, I was bored so here's the math.
The past 7 days (little over by a few hours, +~12).
140 posts, 20 unique users, average of 20 posts a day.
10 users posted 3 times or less.
Top 5 posters account for 95 of 140 posts, top 3 account for 72.
An entire new section is probably not needed yet.
Personally I think there are more Filipinos in this forum but they just don't prefer to post, they're just lurking , which I guess explains the views of the thread.

If it is that big it probably should, i can tell you that, for example, the spanish section is pretty much abandoned and theres only a few people talking there so i really dont see any reason not to make that one, in any case delete the spanish one
It's strange what you say about spanish. It is the third most spoken language and the second one most learned. I would await that this language is more widely used because of that. I mean bitcoiners live everywhere. I don't see a reason why spanish speaking people should use bitcoin less more. I guess the countries that speak Spanish, Bitcoin is not developed in yet. Most people that use Bitcoin speak English compared to other languages. Also, not everyone that uses Bitcoin is on this forum. Only a very small percentage are on this forum. I see quite some people that speak Spanish on this forum. It is probably the second most spoken language on this forum, after English.

That sure is a good opportunity. A lot of us (Pinoys) might just open a shopify store with the bitcoin option, I myself have plans to create a free delivery gadget store just within my area, I've already applied as a reseller on facebook supplier. A sub forum can definitely help as a marketing channel.
