Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Ahh, I see now. I was able to translate the article. So sort of like the ETF we're waiting for in the US. I was thinking it was like an ATM or something. My localbitcoin business is safe.

But no trades as of 11am! It says that regulations mean that as soon as an ETN is available to trade anywhere in the world, they can be traded in Germany, as long as there is interest.
It is good that people have more opportunities to buy, lets see if people actually make use of them though.

You can currently trade this ETN in the US, through multiple brokers such as for example Interactive Brokers. The ticker is COINXBT.

There goes my localbitcoins business. What is an ETN? You should be totally fine. This is just for people using banking services. It'll be slightly easier now then sending to an exchange but local bitcoin services will still see value.

That's a good news for Germany . But it also depends on the germans' potential to buy it. ETN which is exchange traded note needs to be taken care of. With the introduction of ETN in Germany and the rest of the world , people can trade online .The idea proves to be so much convenient for Germans. If i was a German , i would have been feeling optimistic about this opportunity.

a bit underwhelming, we need a bigger amount , and we need that new money keep going inside the market 80M is a nice amount, but i doubt it will suffice, they 300k coins, which can be countered by 80-100 days of mining dumping

Yes, it is great to see good exchange activity in German. That's how it should really be, and I expect that such trades should be a common activity for Germany, because Germany economy is strong. It is capable to achieve even great heights if things continue to progress ahead just like this. Its a pretty nice country too, I've been there once and had a chill time
