I also share this opinion.

Varoufakis resignation is a move to come to a compromise with the EU partners, also the cost of getting out may be too high.

still i can't understand why they want greece to remain in euro, if everything they are asking for is more loan, i really can not see any pro for this, there are only cons

what would be the advantage of retaining the greece?

We all know that Greeks voted " No" for the referendum. With such a huge decision , come varied pros and cons for Greece and Eurozone as well. Eurozone is getting rid of a dead weight which was Greece and its unpayable debt. And the drawback is with the Grexit , the principle of keeping the union intact got sabotaged.

The whole goal of the Eurozone, was to strengthen the countries in Europe after the World War II.
It seems as though that has changed. If you are not strong enough, we will give you loans until you buckle under the debt. No shots will be fired, but the country will be owned by it's debt collectors.
This is being done to increase their political leverage. If you do not play by our rules, we will crush you economically.
Other organizations are doing the same thing with other countries, to force them to play by their rules.

Not the same thing, you get a lot of free money for being part of EU, like a lot!

Corruption and incompetent use of funds put countries in debt, but the benefits are huge.

Everyone seems sick of waiting to find out what will happen. A pro of getting an answer fast will be that the EU will know where it stands. The issue of whether there's a Grexit or not has been causing chaos in Europe since last year. For weeks we have been told we will know tomorrow, only for another delay to hold things up.

Yiasu..I also think that there will not be a Grexit because the consequences for both the EU and the EURO would be huge, actually worse for the EU than Greece. Greece is positioned very nicely geopolitical and it can hook up with many other alliances other than the U.S and Europe but it's mainly because of Ideological thinking that Greece wants to remain European because Greece is Europe and it even invented the word lol. Also exiting the Eurozone wouldn't mean exiting Europe itself but politicians are playing that card and using rhetoric to scare the Greek People into thinking a Grexit would be disastrous, no it wouldn't be a disaster for the Greeks as much as the EU.

i doubt that the tourism is so strong anymore in greece that it can go against all the debt that they have

but it can be considered their last hope for not gettining kicked out from EU

Recently, we all know that, Greeks voted for "NO" considering this votes will pave the way for Greece to exit from Eurozone, my curiosity here is that, What will be the advantages and disadvantages for EU, if they let Greece out.

Now everyone know that even Tsipras invited the Greek people to vote no regarding the agreement with the European countries and even its people followed it, the agreement (more severe than that which was did not accepted from the Greeks) was signed from all the parties. With this news talking about the question made in this thread is in vain. But I think that the risk that Greece leave EU is not totally goes away forever. The agreement signed is not definitive in the meaning that will solve the principal problem of The Greeks (the debt). Because the debt of Greece, as it is and as much as it is, according to IMF, is unsustainable. In this meaning, after this agreement needed other agreements in which must be restructured absolutely it. And no one knows which will be the position of Greeks and its politicians. So, to conclude, the story exit of Greece from EU is not yet finished.

Having this in mind has meaning to come again and comment at the question of this thread. The advantages and disadvantages for EU if the Greece go out. To speak about everything that implies that act in an post is impossible because the question is to complicate and need to much analysis. But who want to know deeply the question I invite to read this two articles from the prestigiouses  BBC and Der Spiegel.

http://www.bbc.com/news/business-31457991

http://www.spiegel.de/international/europe/what-a-grexit-would-mean-for-greece-and-for-europe-a-1019542.html

There are enough an sufficient to understand the matter in all its complexity.
