A little thread cleanup isn't bad... I've had a few old posts of mine erased too, usually one liners, +1 / smileys, etc, and I think it's an ok decision.

I'm not that comfortable though with recently deleted posts where I had written several paragraphs on Greek economy and obstacles to local crypto adoption. Such a policy prevents me from investing time in writing long posts. I mean this thread has been trolled to death and mods are erasing relevant posts with substance?

On the other hand it could be that some trolls have been reporting every single post as offtopic in order to create friction between our community and bitcointalk moderators. So I won't bite.
