Imho things are now way too different and trust in new coins will drop significantly. I also think that alts are back (and I was expecting it since months), but we are talking about the old ones. Nowadays it will be extremely difficult to impose new coins.

that was huge jump and on the other hand bitcoin is moving up...my guess is people took their money out of ltc and threw in btc...btc is more safe bet anyway..it's harder to take it 30% down unless some retard try to cash his "secret stash" that's hidden in some cave in afghanistan

other thing I would like to point out is that there are some big whales in btc-e and they haven't had a chance to pump LTC in a VERY VERY long time and this greece news was their golden ticket.

Ah, I'm so tired reading about Litecoin on Twitter. Don't you people realize that there are other coins as well? How about Peercoin, Namecoin, Novacoin and Primecoin? Look at their volume. There was obvious pump on all of them (including Litecoin of course), but personally I don't care, because the current price of Litecoin suits me well. I expected $5 levels around block reward halving, but it happened earlier.
