It means nothing. It increases and decreases for small amounts. If you have Bitcoins, I would say sell them now and get some small profit in case you bought them for less than $240.

What if the price does not come down below $240?

It's not "what if" because it will most likely will never get back to that amount , I know we can't really predict otherwise we would be all rich but there is some factors and I guess greece is one of those factors even if i don't understand why it started now while their problem started days ago

yes yes, I clearly remember smart guys like you before years, when they start shouting "omg, sell now and buy more BTC, once it will be below 100$". You are recommending to do something, which may (most likely) never happen any-time in future..

I've to say I disagree with this one. 100$ means that the price will need to go down at least 120$ depends on the current price. but right now the price only needs to go down by 40$ to get to 240$. I know it's still hard to imagine, but keep in mind that the price was at 240$ just a little while ago. and you never know what people will do when they start seeing sizable decrease in price

He never said that it's going to to $240.

whoops. I guess we all do that sometimes.. sorry bout that

Ahh yeah, you are right, sorry. It is tempting to sell now for guys which bought at ~240 or even lower (like me) but hodling is so cool:) anyway, for those, which are not is some finance need doesn't make sense to sell it now anyway..

still chump change

Be radical, have principles, be absolute, be that which the bourgeoisie calls an extremist: give yourself without counting or calculating, don't accept what they call ‘the reality of life' and act in such a way that you won't be accepted by that kind of ‘life', never abandon the principle of struggle.

This is problem with BTC, price is changing to quickly and to much.
Merchants don't like it so much because, in this way, they can too easily lose money.
I hope that Bitcoin hit even more, at least $ 400 soon but right now I will be content with $ 300. Smiley

It is 2015. Merchants doesn´t care what is the price right now.
There are many tools in BTC that change instantly to fiat.

I believe we will see 350 this weekend.

Now, bitcoin hit $290.

it's the next pit stop, i think we are going to climb nicely and slowly, with a powerful steady growth

the aiming is to consolidate each new floor while we raising, i can't believe that there are still many that thinkg that this is a dead cat bounce, prepare yourself fo 300+ because nothing will stop it this time

I firmly convinced that bitcoin and moon are tied together, it's only a matter of time and nothing else

Lets just pray for BTC staying above the 280$ for a while now.. Better than a rocket jump up and then a huge dump.

International markets also got a bit of a fright with the 30% collapse of the Chinese markets, and some of them are looking for a relative safe investment <Eg. Gold / Bitcoin>

Spot gold price is actually still holding close to its five year low. It's only marginally up from yesterday when I checked it.
