For me personally I will be convinced that we have a big new up move finally start, when.. We stay over $350-$400 for longer than a week lol

One can only hope, although it is looking good isn't it? Been stable accumulating for quite some time now I think it is ready.

It sure feels like time for something big, but my timing has been off before.

It really does feel like it is time, any day/week now we will see what all this price holding down has been about. I can only imagine it was to accumulate as much as they could to make the pump easier and obviously make more money in the process.

As long as you are in the game it doesn't really matter about wrong timing unless you sell at $325 and we leap to $500+ that would be horrible but as long as it does not run away and you can get back in on a dip all is well that ends well.

Heavy resistance is at 320, 480, 650 and 850. Over 900 would convince me for new all time highs.

For me it has nothing to do with price, but how well support is tested.  If we get some nice bounce at a certain level for at least a few weeks then we have a winner, otherwise it is just a transitory move and just a part of the normal volatility.

You're right. Price means very little if support can't hold. People get too caught up in the slight price movements, when we could be in for a correction in the same short amount of time it took to rise

I'd be convinced if prices stay consistently above $500 for at least three months with solid volume on upwards movements. But before that can happen, I think we will go through a longer period (half a year or longer) of stabilization in the $300-400 range.
Personally I do not wish for parabolic price jumps, because these tend not to be sustainable and might be problematic for the infrastructure. However I'm almost sure that exactly these will happen again sooner or later...

Bitcoin has already broken through and is staying above the 200 day simple moving average. We are in a bull market now, time to buy until price drops under the 200 day SMA again. You can wait for a down day to try to get the best price or just buy in at market. However if you wait to buy you are missing out on profits.

$375 (for example),
$450,
$525,
$600,
$750???
What price will convince you that a Huge new up-move has finally started?

Interesting question Harpy
A graph that looks like its pumping upward over the long term but I guess its a symbolic number for me
$420
IT means the revival of all the 420 threads and for me is a sentiment price that we pass through time and time again.

"$420!!?"
4:20?

Just a day or two above $420 could start a fast run to over $500.

Hmmm...
I am way over-due to walk away from the computer.

If it would gradually rise to 500-600 range again and stay there for a significant time i could be changing my view, for now this just looks like a pump and dump and a major crash event is building.

well, considering history and my experience with bitcoin, it should be around 500USD per BTC, maybe little bit less but around this..

I don't think anything would get me excited except maybe a $1000 move in a single day, then I might starting thinking about giving my current employer the finger.

Break 300 will be enough for me consider such possibility.

Too many failed attempts to break 300 this year, and here we are again

Bitcoin coming up after 260$ is already making so so many people feel that now finally we are going to the moon but a lot of people already know what's up, cuz they've been around for a long time. This is just a temporary spike and its going to fall even lower than 260$ soon, might even slide to 160-180$ and that's when so many people would invest heavy, even I would. And I would sincerely believe we are having a new up-move when we cross 600$

for me, if we get to $400 in a short time and don't get lower than that i would consider it the huge up-move or as you may call it "da moon"

and honestly after seeing the recent movements and getting to $300, i now see it very much possible to reach that point soon.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

$400 - $600 price range will make me think that a new up-move has finally started. The price rise over the last few days is a good start, but no one knows what the next price moves will be.

The price moving up so fast is definitely not a good thing as it could easily happen the other way again . I would have more confidence in bitcoin if the rise was slower . Right now seems to be purely out of speculation.
