Well, in bitcoinland ,,two weeks" means a delay of min. one year. This term was used as a business model by BFL the first time.

I think the words he used was "a couple of weeks", which ususually means a few weeks. More than 2, less than 10. If I were them, I would not want to launch Gemini in current network conditions.
