The gun used in the recent San Francisco shooting was stolen from it's owner's car. Since there are no federal laws requiring gun owners to safely lock up their guns when not in use, a thief was easily able to steal them.

The gun was then sold in a private sale to Ms. Steinle's murderer. Since there are no universal background check laws, an illegal immigrant with a felony record was able to buy the gun, when he could have easily been stopped by a background check.

One thing is clear. "Sanctuary cities" did not kill Kate Steinle. The USA's insanely loose gun laws did.

I'm pretty sure it was the illegal immigrant that killed Kate Steinle. In fact I'm positive. Then again it could have been Obama's loose border policy. If only they had done a background check on him. No---- it was illegal immigrant.

The illegal immigrant wouldn't have gotten the gun if there were universal background check and safe storage laws.

Or if he had been back in South America where he belongs.

If inanimate objects are getting up and killing people, we'll need an act God to stop it, no law can quite cover that. Oh wait, that's not what happened, she was killed by an illegal alien in a sanctuary city by an Obama Dreamer...

I suspect you don't know much about America's "loose" gun laws. It is illegal for a gun to be transported loaded and left unlocked in a vehicle.

But he could always kill her with something else. Oh snap. If he hadn't gotten into the country he couldn't have stolen the gun, and if there weren't sanctuary cities he may have been picked up and deported before he killed her.

From 50 feet away? And three shots in rapid succession?

Nope.

China has immigrants. Japan has immigrants. Spain has immigrants.

none of them have gun crime. Wonder why?

The gun was stolen from the car of a law enforcement officer, how would another law stop that? Also, the person who stole it, a crook, probably isn't going to be doing background checks on thugs he meets on the corner during the middle of the night. How would another law stop that?

Pelosi is an idiot, a moron, a wrinkled windbag bag of liberal nonsense. We need a law against that.

In fact he didn't, California has a universal background check law that the OP falsely believes no one has.

We have the law in Colorado too but not many people obey it.

The gun belonged to a Federal Agent who carelessly left it in his/her car.

They don't have illegal immigrants. Their illegals get deported and stay deported, or spend the rest of their life in prison.

Why would you support a 5 time felon stealing a gun? San Francisco let him go, why not blame them?

Are the gun laws at fault here, or the lack of immigration enforcement that released this felon instead of deporting him?

Mexico’s Ciudad Juárez Is No Longer the Most Violent City in the World
The Mexican murder capital has lost the dubious honor to another Latin American city.

Well lets see, Spain is in a recession so nobody will be able to afford guns, China is under a ruthless dictatorship with a very dangerous army and Japan has the Yakuza who will remove any troublemakers. Yes, their organised crime is so good at keeping out foreign criminals that's why they're being allowed to operate.

Oh and before you mention Britain, trust me, as somebody who is living in a shit hole, gun control doesn't do anything, all that's happening now is we're just stabbing each other and the response by police?

http://www.bedfordshire.police.uk/tackling_crime/protecting_you/personal_safety/protecting_yourself.aspx

I feel so safe knowing that the advice given to me by professional police when in a situation where I'm up against an armed assailant that my best options are to run away screaming loudly. People who advocate gun control, just simply don't live in the real fucking world and I find it a particular piss take that politicians lecture people about gun control with armed bodyguards behind them.
