Yes they are.

If you are restoring a wallet that you created on myTrezor.com in MultiBit HD there are a couple of limitations:

+ MultiBit HD does not support the "12/18/24 words plus a passphrase" functionality, just "12/18/24 words".
+ MultiBit HD only supports what is called "Account 1" on myTrezor.com. If you have created any more accounts MultiBit HD does not see the transactions. This is a limitation on how it gets the its transaction data which, if you are interested, is described in https://multibit.org/en/help/hd0.1/how-spv-works.html - the section "Bloom filtering and single HD account support".

When you do a restore in the screen where you type in your wallet words (seed phrase) make sure you select in the combo box at the bottom the option "Trezor, Mycelium (BIP44)" as the answer to 'What created these wallet words?". This ensures the correct address derivation is performed.

MultiBit HD   Lightweight desktop client.                    Bitcoin Solutions Ltd   Bespoke software. Consultancy.
