ok. so i have the blockchain wallet...along with the bitcoin client. i was playing satoshidice and made a lot of bets. i was ahead a fair amount and everything was going smooth. i noticed that my bets started to "freeze" with unconfirmed status...ussually even if its unconfirmed satoshidice bet goes through and sends the winnings or losings. i then sent a big chunk(big to me) to my bitcoin wallet...it too is still unconfirmed and not showing up in that wallet. its been about 5 hours and it doesnt look like anythings happening. so anyway...the big chunk is in limbo...along with about 7btc worth of dice bets... so im basically broke. how long could this possibly take...and how does bitcoin decide which transactions get confirmed because there are patches of confirmed with a chunk of unconfirmed back to confirmed... then again to unconfirmed.
i want my btc

you just need to wait for some people to confirm the transaction. bitcoin confirmations can be slow sometimes.

thanks...but what is that saying? i mean i kind of get it...but not fully. so the harder the blocks get to solve the longer we are all going to have to wait in the future?

nope, definitely not. The difficulty only rises with hashing power, so it means it should stay on a very similar level

the 92206607d814c6a679123a5d3e4de916de030e6f9c983d8a2802fe130958a9ec while the fee is ok is waiting for eb0b7ebfe7c703d59758bc28190745ef2c14798ef6439e1dca38ceea344fe94d to proceed which have less than recommended fee. the 23ead29afa51f18280afa863a87959c0270d8cfe4d7d79fd3be5dc5d2ee2ef3f is waiting for 6dfb2e0e7e361dd7a69c52855c2b1339a86a4d96ca0062a70507db590b4a0250 for the same reason the f9695790ce0967a114edba6387c82e8f7deef57be49ae095702c28e1edbf6b15 has small fee as well. If your using the computed fee then the program/webwallet you are using is computing it bad. But if you lowered the fees always to 0.0005 yourselves then its your fault. Either way you have to wait for a miner who is including tx with less than recommended fees.

Yes it is the fee but if the transaction size is over 1000 bytes then .0005 fee is not sufficient and majority of miners will not include it in a block so you have to wait (recommended fee is .0005 per every 1000 bytes, rounded up)

Don't worry. A miner you add your transactions eventually.
