Hi. Please read carefully.

Yup, my bad. A simple wording issue solved that btw everyone starts at 0 BTC wagered to make it clearer and your wording is pretty much unclear. A simple script will be able to calculate how many BTC has someone wagered in X period of time

Yes, as panjul mentioned. I redid the maths, its not feasible to pay 0.9% to the first winner, hence I'm offering to pay the full amount of the house edge earned from the user.

Now you are the one that read properly.  I didntt write anything about 0.9 % , yes I know that you changed it to 0.5 % and this is totally wrong again because I have given you some math that assuming if your edge is staying at 1 % ( which is not in your case) then you will get 0.5 % of it and allowed yourself to pay the winner however your site is not a 1 % edge which means that you will end up paying the winner at the expenses of your own pocket again . Now if there is a whale to wager 1k BTC and that would be a lot of amount to pay from your own pocket

Yup, sorry. Mistaken the previous post as yours. Also thanks for raising this issue. I forgot that I only get half the house edge in my calculations. You just saved me a lot of btc. Thanks.

You left this out btw, typed it after you quote my post. A simple script to calculate the BTC wagered should be an easy task for you. For the prize calculation you should take samples of all bets after the variable edge is implemented, take an average of all that edge and divide it by half to get the best option for your contest's prize

P.S : ignore all my typos and such (lots of things having my attention atm so yeah )

Alright thanks for the suggestion. I'm viewing this on my phone, forgive me if I miss any post. I will figure out the best way to implement the contest first then post. My mistake for half-assing it. Sorry guys

I've sent 0.1 BTC and I will start betting after 1 confirmation, I hope the house edge thing is legit so it's better than for example Primedice.
Good that you chose to use Moneypot api, instead of your own service.

Hi guys, do check out my new Bitcoin Dice site, Quantum Dice.

It is designed with a simple UI, nothing fancy to ensure smooth performance. The site is backed by the MoneyPot API and uses the provably fair verification.

House edge is 1.0%

https://quantumdice.github.io/

IMHO about 5 dice sites already have the same UI as yours and are using moneypot API, dont you have any plan to improve yours before launching and make your site above the others?
i completly agree, as far as i can see its no different from the rest

how is it unique, the very idea of a dice site is pretty uniform. the room for innovation is pretty minimal, it looks like a copy of dadice or prime dice...

It was at their first launch, most of them has very similar interface because they use the same script. But now they have improved the script, so now they looks different to each other.

That comment was made when this site was merely an untitled dice clone. We have come a long way since then. Have fun

Thanks panjul07 and The Bad Guy for the clarification and support too Cheesy

This is the best site ever and the only one where I made a serious profit! I've started with 0.29 just a few hours ago and withdrawed 0.6 BTC just now. I must say that I really love the design ( or whatever you call it.. Cheesy ) of the site, it looks so beautiful and modern. The big green numbers if you win are literally beautiful! Keep the house edge thing how it is and I will come back! Smiley
