Hi guys, sorry for the poor performance of the website the past few days. MoneyPot was under attack by some irresponsible parties. The situation seems to have resolved for now and the site and moneypot should be functioning smoothly right now again. Do report any issues if you experience them. Thanks and happy betting Wink

Yes, as you can read on the title that the house edge is variable 0.01% up to 1.00%. It varies regardless of the bet amount and the multiplier.
So, how much you bet and how much was the multiplier when you got 0.9% HE?

House edge varies randomly from 0.01% to 1.0% on each bet.

A known bug is that some multipliers return a fixed house edge for example multiplier 99 always return 1.0% house edge. Will be fixed soon in the next update.

Recently there are a couple of concerns raised by users about the fairness of the site.

I would like to clarify that I'm only running a jquery client and can in no way manipulate the outcome of your bets. All bets, payouts, deposits and withdrawal are handled by the MoneyPot server and are also provably fair. You can check the details on MoneyPot by clicking on your Bet ID at QuantumDice or the app page on MoneyPot. I'll add in an interface which shows the hash and make it easier for users to verify them soon enough(probably within the next week or so)

As an app developer on MoneyPot, I get paid regardless of your bet outcome(whether you win or lose). Hence, it makes no sense for me to cheat to make you lose as that would incur a potential loss to me too. A good summary of this would be that the App Developer and MoneyPot is on your side in your bets against the investors bankroll. We want you to win.

For those interested, it would be wise to read up on what house edge means and what does this mean for you. All dice games are gambling games and gambling always carries a risk. Only play with what you are willing to lose.

With that being said, all the best in your bets and may lady luck be on your side Wink

How is the random edge variable calculated? I'm not making any accusations or hinting at anything, but wouldn't that be in your complete control and not in Moneypots?

Very nice interface and site.    I may have to move some money into there a little later.  It's great that you use the moneypot API as well.  It will definitely help inspire user confidence as opposed to other sites just starting out.

The random variable is generated on each bet using Math.random(). You can always verify that the edge is variable(and not exceeding 1.0%) by checking out the detailed bet page on MoneyPot. If you find that the house edge is higher than 1.0% for any of your bets, report those bets to me and I'll reimburse you the commission I made from those bets.

(Take note that some multiplier returns a fixed edge of 1.0% due to some flaws in the code. So far I'm aware that multiplier of 4,10, and 100 are bugged. Will fix this as soon as possible, in the meantime, avoid playing with those multipliers)

Thanks, I hope you have a good game Smiley

Definitely the best dice site ever, I was just thinking if you don't want to buy my signature space to get more visitors? I love playing here and the UI is just an amazing piece, I like the big numbers you have.

Hi. Thanks for the feedback. I really appreciate it Cheesy Regarding the signature thing, I don't really have the budget for a signature campaign yet right now but if I decide to run one in the future. I'll definitely PM you. Thanks for the offer though. I hope you enjoy your time on Quantum Dice Cheesy

p/s: Although If you decide to do some pro bono signature promotion for me, I'd really really appreciate it :p

Added a provably fair stats section. Also added the option to change the client seed to your own desired value.

How provably fair works on this site.

Server seed is generated using the following formula SHA256(Random Number + "|" + salt) where
Random number is a number between 0 and (2^32)-1 and salt is a value which is added randomly to prevent the seed from being brute forced.

The raw outcome of each bet is calculated with (Server seed + Client seed) % Math.pow(2,32) where
Server seed is the server seed calculated above and client seed is the value your client gives the server(which you have full control over)

The final outcome is calculated by dividing the raw outcome by 2^32 and multiplying it by 100.

Quantum Dice verifies the outcome of each bet you make automatically. However, if there are any uncertainties, be sure to check out the detailed bet page on MoneyPot and verify the bet yourself.

QDice.net. Great site! Love it. Love the user-friendly features displayed especially the Qbot. Qbot works like a charm. One thing is for sure, QDice makes me come back for more of its quantum debauchery after a hard day's work. Fun and entertaining. Kudos to the site owner for such a brilliant design and concept. Somehow, everything just clicks.

P.S. Love the QDice chat box. Friendly and helpful staff.
