So basically I just started bit coin mining and ive been looking everywhere for help with my gpu. First off i have a radeon 6870 HD. So my problem is people say they get like 300mhash/s with it but im only getting 774khash/s with it and that sounds terrible. I am using GUI miner and there might be something easy to fix it but I don't know what it is so if you do know or have an idea please help. Thanks in advance.

Maybe you set the program to mine using CPU. Look again and see if it is right (GPU).
Try using poclbm with these flags: -v -w 128

Take a look at the mining hardware list. It includes various setup flags and overclocking settings for your card.
