Since we only saw specific gaming threads, here is one where you can discuss everything!

Examples:
- What games are you playing at the moment?
- Which games would you recommend?
- Which games wouldn't you recommend?
- Which games do you look forward to?

PS: We launched our summer sale and we would be happy if you would take a look around our store Smiley

Code:
What games are you playing at the moment?

Civilization 5. I'm just trying to replay it with all DLCs and packs. It is certainly a good game.

Code:
 Which games would you recommend?
Well this is a tough question actually. We could have a thread solely to discussing this. I would not recommend playing anything that is time consuming (i.e. waste of time) like MOBA, MMORPG, etc. when you're studying or working. I've actually stopped playing such useless games about 2 years ago. I mostly play the main titles/good games and I've finished everything released in the past few years (I usually beat the game in a day or so over the weekend).

Code:
 Which games wouldn't you recommend?
I've already stated this above, so it is really up to you.

Code:
Which games do you look forward to?
I'm actually not even sure what is going to be released. I've heard of the upcoming AC game, Total War Warhammer, One Piece (if you're interested in the series). I'm not even sure what is going to be released in Q3 and Q4.

Best part of the series, but also time consuming and you have Gandhi the warmonger...

We know what you mean, especiall if you realize that you don't change the world, which is the thing that bugs me the most. Guild Wars 2 was/is good though.

It seems like you like strategy games, so there is Anno 2205 which you could be interested in Wink. A lot of other games are coming too, like Might & Magic Heroes VII, Metal Gear Solid 5, Rainbow Six: Siege, Need for Speed, CoD, Fallout 4, Star Wars: Battlefront, XCOM 2, Just Cause 3.

Actually Shaka and Washington are currently causing problems for me. It definitely takes time to beat even if you chose the quick setting.
We know what you mean, especiall if you realize that you don't change the world, which is the thing that bugs me the most. Guild Wars 2 was/is good though.
Well there are games that have introduced this feature to some degree. AFAIK in World of Warcraft (after the release of Cataclysm) one was able to change the world via quests. I just don't feel like it is beneficial to spend ~10k hours in a repetitive game like LoL.

Thank you for sharing that. The Anno series are really something, and I wasn't aware that the next part is coming. It is definitely going to be amazing. Well, I think that strategy games are the only ones that provide a real challenge (if you set up the right difficulty). Besides that, playing this genre has  strong cognitive benefits.
You can always get the for free until you have money to afford them (depending on where you live).

Yeah, but it's definitely more fun if played with friends over the internet or during a lan party. It's the same with starcraft, most people play to rise through the ladders.

The problem is that we're a gamekey store, offering pirated verions would possibly do more harm than good  Grin We'll see how much we stock since we can't estimate our growth until november, maybe 2 copies per game are enough, maybe not.

I'm playing Trials Fusion lately. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xddo50QZR3U

It's pretty fun, basically a platformer with a motorcycle (though Trials is a real thing). It's a good feeling when you finally hit the obstacles right and get the flow going. Gets insanely hard later on.

I've worn out 2 controllers on this game series since Trials 2.

Hi,

no not really, LoLs specs are pretty low and if you have a halfway decent PC you should be able to run it, if it doesn't run we can recommend you this game(especially with the new update!)
Terraria (This is our Keystore btw)

Well a lot of games are fun when you have someone to play with. I'd love to have a co-op partner for the Total War series, but I'm unable to find someone within my circle of acquaintances.
Honestly, I didn't even notice. I was talking to you as a person. I didn't even see that you're selling keys; i.e. obviously then you should not offer pirated versions.

Same problem here, the games that get played a lot by people we know are LoL and CS:GO. Time intensive games like anno, heroes of might & magic, civilization or Total War don't find any recognition, sadly.

I don't think that it is about time though. I'm pretty sure that LoL players spend much more time playing games than Total War players. I think it is the complexity of strategy games because of which many do not like them. LoL, Dota, CS, CoD are all very easy to learn and become decent, however good luck trying to win Civilization at maximum difficulty.   Smiley

What I meant with time was the time for 1 round, a good civ game can easily take 10 hours or more and you have to consider that during your turn the others can't do anything. LoL for example takes 15-1hour depending on your gamemode etc. all players are involved and it's free. As you said strategy games usually have a pretty steep learning curve, whereas CoD, CS:GO are easy to learn but hard to master.
