I have downloaded the wallet but it says "out of sync" for several hours now. Anyone knows how to fix this or maybe the blockchain still not active? Still working on the translations. Thanks for anyone who can answer.

Hi Dev, my temple coin it has been like that for like more than a day now. It is not syncing. I do hope you can address this one so that you can help me make the wallet work. Also do you have a step by step guide on how to mine using a laptop? And of course the wallet. Thanks.

You may need to take your Wallet.bat file and then redownload the Wallet. Or, load the Blockchain on another Computer, and then send your Balance from the one that is stuck to the one that works.

Ummmm It's like your suggesting that I don't use my computer and instead purchase a new computer and do it there. Surely there must be some other way right? Like adding a .conf file with some nodes on it. Give me the link to download the actual temple wallet maybe the one I downloaded must be obsolete and not working.

No, this happens with tons of Coins. For example, Ethereum has this problem all the time. You simple have to take your Wallet.bat file, redownload the wallet, and put your wallet.bat file in the new Wallet.

It just happens with Blockchains.

Well I tried that (standard troubleshooting for all wallets of this type) and that did not work still not syncing. Surely there must be a new CONF file that needs to be added with some nodes in it for it to work. Or possibly a new wallet download link possibly the wallet I downloaded from your site is really not working.

I am not hearing any responses from our Developers. Even the Shaligram wallet is not syncing as well. I am not sure if the Devs are going to help out on the configuration file and nodes. I have followed your instructions and the Temple wallet is not syncing. Maybe someone who HAS a working wallet might help out.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

The amount and diversity of information is staggering - but it becomes too difficult for me to follow. I understand that temple coin and shaligram are sistercoins. I understand they are meant to have a value.

To be a more blunt - and less esoteric person - i have a few questions: Currently there are two mining pools of shaligram, but there is no exchange (right?). There is no clear website regarding shaligram nor is their an active community (which differ from an active developer). But the developer has several other cryptocurrencies in development?

PS. @benedictonathan i had no trouble sync shaligram.

@benedictonathan - I too have problems with the said wallet. I mean the instructions were meant to be simple right? Download the temple coin wallet, unzip and run. After running, it just stays there at OUT OF SYNC status. Some said just wait but I have been waiting for days. What gives?

Have you added the nodes which were previously mentioned?

Are these for Shaligram or Temple coin. I added "templecoin.conf" in the %appdata% portion of temple coin but  it did not work. Still says Out of sync. It all takes a link or a file, maybe you can send.

Okay so these are Shaligram nodes and shaligram is syncing now. I did some google search and I found a shalivite website instructions on how  to mine temple coins :

http://shaivitetemple.org/temple-coin-download-wallet-mine-coin/

Which requires the creation of a templecoin.conf file. But it has no nodes so still the temple coin wallet is not working up to now.

I just came to follow up on this coin and project. 3 months has passed and no one really took this seriously. I pity the guy who did some translations but did not get paid. Anyway it's his loss. so what gives? I still cannot make the wallet both temple and shaligram work. Any news whatsoever?
