Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

The localbitcoin link says the same as you thread but I guess another way to put it is that you want to sell your bitgold.
Due to lack of proper exchange for bitgold I guess people are not fully interested because it lack liquidity.
